Becoming a Nightrain member.

Is it worth it to sign up on Nightrain to get first dibs on tickets?  If you wait till general public gets to buy, shouldn't you be fine?  Anyone with experience  have thoughts?

It is a stadium and not an arena.

And its not like people will be traveling to these shows.  It will pretty much be local folks.

That said, I'd sign up.  Leave nothing to chance.

I don't think it will be hard to get tickets at any time before the show... even if that means second hand... and the prices won't be like Vegas.

Plus I am hoping to get like 8 tickets... So I have a feeling buying presale... there will be a limit.

They're playing venues with 50,000 + capacity, I can't see it being too difficult to snag tickets. However, $45.00 for presale access and a pretty cool T-Shirt doesn't seem like too terrible of a deal.

Yeah its basically 45 bucks for presale access (guranteeing you a ticket basically if you want to buy one) a tshirt, and a cool laminate.

for 40 more bucks, you get a hoodie added to it.

I do wish they would add a selection to the t-shirt. It is just the one featured shirt right?

I'd love to have multiple designs and pick one out. Regardless I'll consider getting one. Sounds like fun

Are existing members having luck logging in? The site is not accepting my password, and I do not want to reset it, fearing it will not reset in time for tomorrow's pre-sales. I updated my account when the emails went out, last week.

I'm having issues as well. It keeps wanting me to verify my email, even though I click the Verify your email address button, it takes me back to my profile info with an unverified email status.

They are likely facing extreme traffic today.  But I did get that email a little bit ago.  Sounds like it plan to be up and running later.

If your gonna buy GA tickets, it doesn't really matter to be a member correct?  Unless you want first dibs on the best SEATS....then it would matter?  Because GA is GA...if you want to get up close, you gotta be there early either way....right?

GA disappeared in Vegas very fast.  And the GA area looks very small for the Detroit show (only seating chart I have seen thus far).

Yes! That's exactly what I did, too.

the caveat is: They sent out emails to old members earlier this week, to convert to the new site.  Make sure you get that setup and taken care of.

ONce you do, you'll login and see that your account is active til Jan of next year.

I got an email from them earlier with instruction on how it's all going to work.  They'll be emailing you with a pw tomorrow, and you'll be able to see your pw sometime later tonight on the site. :)

did you see anything on how to change your password?  The temp password they gave me allows me to log in, but I didn't see an option to change it to a new password.

I do wish things weren't moving so damn quick on the presale. I wish Monday was the day for presale.

Just seems condensed. Finding out the date of the show I want, then literally 20 hours barely later I gotta sign up and do the purchase. Id on't like that.

Not yet. Other folks who have talked to support have said they are being told that's not an option yet.  You're stuck with the temp pw..for now.

I didn't get that e-mail, I just did the "forgot password" and I got in that way.

There's no language on format to follow when creating a username.

make sure the name is all lowercase...

no spaces... just letters I think

Previously they've been provided on the day if I remember correctly.

This is a new company running things though, but I believe they have informed of the same thing.

Large fits me well, but xl is usually too baggy.

T-shirts might be another brand than before since it's a new company handling the fan club.

Where was the above message posted?  Hoping when the send us the codes they clarify the ticket limit.  2 per show or 2 per tour?  On each concert page it has the same message about limit of 2 Nightrain tickets.  I would like to buy a pair of tickets for 2 shows.

Thanks for the heads up, Ja5oN!  Even though tickets are not guaranteed it's too bad that members(especially OG members) can't get a little better pre-sale offer.  Not asking for anything free but would be nice to not have to compete with the hordes of scalpers.  The DC show capacity is possibly around 50,000 and Philly is possibly around 40,000.
Not trying to complain either.  Still thrilled there are a bunch of shows close enough to drive!  

I think you need to go to the help page on the site (link at the bottom of the page), and explain the problems you're having.

So I know the 2 ticket limit is pretty self explanatory, BUT just so I hear it from someone else ... I can only buy 2 tickets - it doesn't matter if thats 2 to one show, or 1 to 2 shows .... 2 is it per membership?

But for me, that begs the question if it's 2 tickets a year or 2 tickets per presale code. I'm guessing the next batch of tour dates will have a different code.

For example: If they decide to come to Europe later in the year, and I've used the presale code for one of these US shows, can I participate in the Euro-shows presales?

I assume yes, or some folks who used their coachella codes are gonna be annoyed come tomorrow. I think its 2 per presale opportunity.

Just bought a membership.  So far it seems to be working, although it didn't calculate shipping and taxes for the shirt and hoodie, and no idea how long until everything ships.   I got the presale code though, which is the most important thing.   : ok:

I bought a membership hoping that they announce a South American tour and also hoping it guarantees pre-sale for those! Risky but i feel safe that way!

I have a friend who may be interested in going to the DC show but with his work schedule he may be forced to be out of town that weekend. I have no experience selling a ticket online but I would be forced to if he's unable to attend, not looking to make a profit. Being that I would buy that ticket under the Nightrain presale would I be punished for reselling my ticket that I acquired through their presale? The last thing I want to happen is to be penalized for trying to not end up stuck with an extra ticket if he can not attend.

Has anyone from abroad (not US) received the Nightrain Membership Package yet?

I bought mine (from Argentina) in January; it was just sent a month ago?and I`m still waiting for it.  ::)
The tracking service was 3 times the price of the membership (back then the membership was much cheaper than now), so I didn't order it ... :no:?.and now all I can think of is a Mexican mule coming from Fontana, CA and crossing the Andes wearing my GNR t-shirt.  >:(

when they reopened the site the menu bar at the top now has an UPGRADE tab but no drop down info.

I am from Europe and I got it last week.  I would give it some more days and then contact Wonderful Union. I had an issue with the t-shirt back in Christmas and they helped a lot  :)

I have no idea when the nightrain forum will be back. It seems that they've been working on it. In the interim, this is a good place to be at.
