FYI: Every city on that list has an NFL Stadium...except Toronto.  I'd assume they'd use Rogers Centre (Home of the Blue Jays).  Is there another option there?

Yeah, I don't think it's a BAD option. Just wondered if there was really any other up there.  Just means they have to fight with the Blue Jays for a date, during the summer. Not impossible (it's ONE "active" stadium in the bunch), but didn't know if they had another likely option in Toronto.

Rogers Centre would be the venue.  U2, Springsteen and the Stones are among others that have played there in the past.  The rumour that went around earlier was a July 16th date, the Jays on are the road that weekend.

NY Boston Chicago San Francisco will probably sell the easiest... the rest I would guess will all be similar.

The tour is expected to go out in July and August, though June dates could not be ruled out, nor could more international shows.

I've mentioned this a couple of places already, but keep an eye on March 30 at The Troubadour. The original show with Rita Wilson got postponed out of the blue.

It's just a hunch though, no sources suggest that GNR will play there at that date.

The NFL Stadium in MA is in Foxboro not Boston, but they always list the bigger city. With Levi Stadium they advertised Super Bowl 50 as San Fran.

Just like Boston doesn't REALLY have a stadium, I suspect they will use Foxboro where the Pats play. And NYC will use Met Life, which is actually in New Jersey. :)

Likewise, I'm guessing that by "San Fran" they mean Levi Stadium in Santa Clara.

As for Orlando...I missed that one first go. They do NOT have an NFL stadium, but the Citrus Bowl would work.

Just for those wondering about Toronto, Rogers Centre (Skydome) is the likely venue, but BMO field I believe is or just underwent renovation to accommodate more seats as the Leafs and Wings will be playing an outdoor game there on Jan.1

I think its close to 40 thousand now, but Skydome is 65 thousand, Seen AC/DC there twice and alot of the big acts play there, The sound bouncing off the walls is only downfall, would be unreal if the roof was open but they likely cant do that due to the noise, but shit that would be cool, I will be there in Toronto, hoping to afford one of the VIP packages

Finally! Now i just need to figure out how to get tickets to Dallas. There's some cities omitted that quite frankly surprise me. No LA obviously is the most glaring, but also no Raleigh, Minneapolis, Denver, Green Bay, Buffalo or Indianapolis. No Oakland, Jacksonville or Miami make a bit more sense due to there relatively close proximity to San Francisco and Orlando.

^Maybe those are just the dates secured? Like the Billboard article said, it could pop up more dates anytime.

From what I've seen so far (tweets and such), people have reported seeing them in Atlanta, Pittsburgh, New Orleans and Washington DC.

They are probably up in every one of the 21 cities.

That seems likely, hard to imagine they'd skip Denver, Minneapolis, Buffalo, Raleigh, Indianapolis and L.A. Green Bay might be too small of a metro area. I could see them adding Jacksonville too. It would be quite a drive from there to Orlando.

OMG....i'm so fucking excited!!  I'm in Ohio and can't believe they are coming to cincy!!

I think they picked Orlando because it's a central location in Florida.  1 hour from Tampa, 1 hour from Daytona, 2 hours (maybe less) from Jacksonville...and about 4 hours from Miami.  Easy drive for casual fans from Tampa and Daytona and a no brainer for any die hards from Jacksonville and Miami.

Not to mention that Orlando is one of the tourism capitals of the world, with over 60 million visitors a year.  There is no doubt that dads throughout the country will be planning their Disney vacations around this date.

I have a friend who is in nyc...her daughter is sloan kettering for cancer treatments....and they were out in the city today. She took the time to message mevand tell me there are billboards and posters up there.

The posters/billboards has either "Patience", "Welcome To The Jungle" or "Paradise City" written on them

I was driving down route 10 in Providence, RI and they had the Paradise City billboard!!!!!!! Craaaazyyyyyyyy. Not enough time to take a pic. I mean, stopped to take a pic but how long can I stop in a highway without looking suspicious? Exactly lol. Man, this seems so surreal.

BMO field seats 30,000. Genesis has played there. Soccer stadium. Skydome (it'll never be the Cable company centre) is more likely. Unless they play the Ampitheatre or ACC but those are much smaller.

The citrus bowl has been in Orlando for 80 years and they just did a 200 million dollar renovation.  College bowl games are often played there.

Orlando City plays there temporarily as well as they build their new stadium.

The Citrus bowl also had Wrestlemania in 2008 and will be hosting it again next year in 2017.

The Rolling Stones also played there last July.  It seem to be the obvious outdoor venue here for Guns to play.

I heard yesterday that 93.3 WMMR in philly has a concert announcement at 7AM as well. Of course I thought (hoped) it would be GnR when I heard it, but figured it was not likely since the announcement just came and it may be another week or so before they announce everything. But now that I see another city making an announcement at the exact same time (most other concert announcement on WMMR are typically later in the morning, I believe), I'm thinking maybe there is a chance.

As a lifetime New Yorker, I really hope they play in NYC and not MetLife Stadium which is in NEW JERSEY. I'd prefer an arena - as a Brooklynite I'd be psyched if they play Barclays Center. Saw them at MSG in 2002 and 2006 and both shows were fantastic, the 2002 show legendary in my opinion. So Barclays would be great, MSG cool too. Hopefully it's not at MetLife or Jones Beach in Long Island.

It'll probably be at MetLife since it is a stadium tour. MetLife is much bigger than Barclay. MetLife is only 15 minutes away from me so I'm looking forward to it being there.

I was at both Garden shows, absolutely amazing.  There is no place like Madison Square Garden.

 Having said that, I would be extremely surprised if they didn't play Metlife Stadium.  It is the easiest to access for people from New York, NJ, Connecticut and parts of Pennsylvania.   Plus, Metlife's capacity just blows away everything else in the area.  Being the only NY area show, in the summer, they are going to sell Metlife out.  Also, going to NYC is a major pain in the ass when you don't live in the city, most people I know hate travelling into there, especially in the summer.  Tailgating will be a huge thing for this show, and you can't do that  without the space, and Metlife has tons of it.

Also, it's most likely a long shot but would be cool if CitiField or Yankee Stadium was a possibility. Both have hosted some big shows over the last several years.

Does anyone know what a typical ticket limit is for a single purchase these days? (I don't buy a lot of concert tickets.) We've got a group of about a dozen who'd like to attend one of the stadium shows together, but I'm not sure what the best approach would be to get the tickets. I've got a fan club membership, but I doubt they'll allow a 12-ticket purchase. Anyone have any experience trying to get that many seats more or less together? Is it even possible?

You are really limiting your options by trying to get that many seats together unless it's GA, but like was said above 6-8 is usually the limit.

I suspect our best approach might be to order two sets of tickets and just aim for the same section, rather than contiguous seats...

Also, when the site is announced, you may want to contact them directly about Premium Seating / Suite.
I got one for Sabbath, it was $1500 for 18 tix, a private bathroom, and an option for catering.

The band should save the Las Vegas arena stage and end the U.S. tour with a run of shows at an Los Angeles arena. Many L.A. fans will attend the Vegas, Coachella, and San Diego shows, so I can see the promotor's low ticket sales concerns if they add an L.A. stadium date(s). However, Los Angeles is their hometown and ending their U.S. tour with arena shows at the Forum or Staples Center would be highly climactic.

I found when ordering through nightrain presale for Las V it was SO hard to find tickets! (I was just searching for 2 seats at the time)...I can't even imagine trying to buy for a group which I will be when they come to my home town. What is the trick? Just ordering them in twos and trying to get same section? What was going on in the presale? is that ordinary?

A friend of mine is involved with Coachella and tells me Guns are unlikely to be streamed. Unlikely, not a definite no, but I'd say don't get your hopes up.

GUNS N' ROSES Tour To Expand Beyond U.S.; THE CULT To Open Select Dates

THE CULT guitarist Billy Duffy has revealed to Vanyaland that his band will share the stage with the reunited GUNS N' ROSES in the coming months. And while Duffy didn't elaborate, he did say the dates wouldn't be taking place in the U.S.

"I believe we will be playing with them at a couple of shows that are not in the United States. I think I can say that, I believe," Duffy said. "I just found out."

GUNS N' ROSES is rumored to be playing an intimate warm-up show on Friday (April 1) at the Troubadour, one of the Los Angeles clubs where the band first played before the release of its debut album, 1987's "Appetite For Destruction". More information is expected by Friday morning, at which point a limited number of tickets will go on sale to the general public.

A few things that I now know about the tour.  It is 100% going to be football stadiums.  The stage is in front of a smallish GA section followed by the reserved field seats.  I'd say its the first 10-15 rows or so are GA and everything else is reserved.  Tix will range from $50ish to $280.  I'm thinking the shows will go on sale in the next 10 days.  More specifically i would guess fan club presales tues, citi card presale weds, general onsale fri.  Not confirmed but just trying to help you all make your plans.  East coast shows are in July, not sure if that's the beginning or middle of the tour.  Happy hunting folks!

I don't have a picture but my wife stated that she's seen 3 different billboards in the Nashville area downtown.

Once just "Patience" with the "Gn'F'nR" thing.

Another said Paradise City and the last one said Welcome to the Jungle I believe.

It will vary show to show slightly but basically this

GA $280
First field sections and best 4 lower level sections $280
Next set of field sections $160
lower levels 5-8 sections away from the stage $160
Lower levels 9-11 away $110
Lower and middle level across from stage $85
Most upper level seats $65
Worst 3-4 upper sections $50


The best value is either the second set of field sections or the lower level seats at 110 in my opinion.  

There maybe second stages in the middle/back of the field.  I can't really tell.  I tend to think there are because they are selling some VIP packages back there.

Top tier price likely puts you in the lowest seated section.  GA floor will probably be right around the same price, but might be slightly less.

I'm thinking close to $200 for mids, $150 for uppers, and the cheap seats are the outer ring nosebleeds.

I'd ultimately like tickets in the lower bowl as opposed to the field.

Dad actually wants to go.  But I can't make him pay.  This is going to cost me a fortune, haha.

Ideally, that's where we (wife and I) want to be, too. I'm too old, and my knees are too shot, to not at least have an OPTION of a seat. :)  I'd aim square at those $160 per tickets.

But, to be honest...I'd take the 50.50 seats and smile if that's all I could get.

We are so getting together for pre-show beers, man. IT WILL HAPPEN (provided I manage tickets tomorrow).

I could see all upper most level being under $100. Most of them start between 39.50 and 45.50. I would be surprised if the next tier jumped to well over $100. Maybe 39-45.50, 80, 150, 200 then 250?

I have $350 for 2 tix.  Would have had 700 if the car hadn't crapped out last weekend.  And would have 700 if I decided to wait until Thursday or Saturday...but I'm not that brave.

I will end up buying the best 2 seats I can for that money.  I'm hedging my expectations so I'm not disappointed.  Again, I'd take the $50 seats at Met Life and just be happy I'm in the building. :)

That's how i feel about hopefully going to the AT&T stadium show. I could be on the freakin roof and be happy that i was there.

If you think about it that way, instead of just comparing it to a any regular concert. Then it's suddenly even more attractive... 


This will be the first opportunity a lot of people will have to experience what they have been hearing about from us "elders" or watching it on Youtube.
There's a lot of those people around who were too young to see these guys last time they toured together.

Same here, people who never came to shows with me before have all called me today about getting tickets.  I'm pretty sure these stadiums will all be sold out,and quickly.  I am just crossing my fingers to get GA for the 2 shows I'm going for.

Oh, agreed. But whether younger people can afford those prices? I'm not sure. We'll see. I've never seen them tour together!

Maybe not everybody, but I didn't mean the majority of the crowd will be younger people.
It'll definitely be a mix.

But if the venues were smaller, then prices would possibly be even higher. Also, you can't really tell people this is a historical tour if you play the same places the other tours are doing. Stadiums are kinda exclusive.
It's part of the magic.

Looking at the tour on a whole, there are many instances where shows are 4 days or so apart, where a few are only 2 days apart, wonder if that indicates that some areas might have another date added after the initial sale?

yeah I noticed that with the New York Date.  That is on the July 23, and the show before it is the 19th and after it is the 27th.  That is a lot of potential time for a second NY date.

Exactly there will be many fans in their mid 30's all the way up that have being fans of guns since they they were first around.  I would also say the prices are pretty much in line with what people are paying for any major stadium show and in some cases hundreds of dollars less for prime seats. 

I hope the tour does really well and a 2nd leg gets added but hard to say. 

Overall i think it is quite affordable. At the Dallas show, you can get 400s for 44.50 and 59.50 and 300s for 79.50 and 99.50. Obviously not great seats but that's the nature of a stadium show anyway. The vast majority of the seats are far away.

Well...good thing about beeing older is: having enough money to spend! 😉

One of the perks legacy type bands has are older fans with more money.

I realize prices have inflated for everything over the past 25 years.  But I would find it hard to believe their fans at the time could have afforded whatever price the $250 would be in 1991 prices.
