I didn't include any covers/live albums. I almost didn't include Lies as its basically 4 acoustic originals and 1 of the 4 is a version. So its just 3 new songs basically. I did include it though.

Pick ONLY 3 songs from each album and only 1 from Lies. These would be the songs you would have to listen to by the band every day. Imagine you couldn't hear any other song for the rest of your life but these 3 from each album. You should end up with 13 songs to make your ultimate desert island forever Gn'R album.

Just thought it might be fun.

Here is mine. (Remember in picking these for the fun factor in this thread... whatever you pick are the only Gn'R songs you will be able to ever hear ever again. The rest of the Gn'R catalog wouldn't exist to you).

AFD: Nightrain, Rocket Queen, Paradise City

This was tough.. lol. Nightrain and Rocket Queen were easy as they are a couple of my favs, the 3rd track was very very tough. I went with Paradise because of the different vibes it has. It is more intersting then some of the others. I could of almost went with any. Sweet Child just missed the cut as so did It's So Easy. Tough

Lies: One in a Million

(Patience is the better song, but I've heard it so much, One in a Million is more intersting to me and something I could listen to forever)

UYI I: Bad Obsession, Don't Cry, Dust N' Bones

(Very tough again. UYI is the album I never truly appreciated until not too long ago. Hard to explain. Maybe for another time I think? Right Next Door to Hell was considered but I would get tired of that one forever. November Rain just missed. I mean just missed. It basically didn't make it over Dust n Bones because its just slower paced and longer I guess. It would get somewhat bland if I had to listen to it forever)

UYI II: Civil War, You Could Be Mine, Breakdown

(After the first 2 choices here it could of been almost anything else. I went with Breakdown as it is just the most interesting song. Almost picked 14 years or Locomotive.)

CD: This I Love, Sorry, Madagascar

(This I Love is one of their best songs ever. It is better than November Rain IMO. I think its just a masterpiece. Sorry is sly and edgy.. badass and Madagascar is a gem. I like it live more. The guitar are louder live it seems.)
