Title: Finck, Tobias, and Reed Post by: CherryGarcia on January 18, 2016, 12:24:00 AM If you go by ASCAP credits, Paul Tobias, Robin Finck, and Dizzy wrote the lion's share (musically) of Chinese Democracy. Paul is credited with co-writing 7 CD songs (8 if you include Oh My God); Robin and Dizzy are credited with co-writing 6 of the album's songs....These three are guys who've gotten a lot of hate and yet who have proved themselves vital to Guns. I figured this would act as a companion to my importance of Izzy thread.

Paul gets some hate because people say he is the reason GNR broke up. But I don't see much hate for the other two. It is dead horse.. its all about rehashed stuff... and it is fun to talk about. You need to lighten up a little. You're stiffness on all things Guns N' Roses is pretty incredible. You don't make a lot of sense, and fail to see clearly on subjects. You can't separate opinion from fact and you are pretty annoying. Boom. Well, going by that standard you see a great deal of hate for nearly every aspect of GNR on some other forums. I don't really relate, nor get into the negative mindset at all- and there are far too many exciting, positive things happening right now. Robin took heat for his bizarre appearance in 2001/02. Important to note, these are not my opinions as I consider these trivial matters. But people have said those things for years. |
