In what should hopefully be exciting news for you, we have worked with Coachella to set aside a quantity of tickets earmarked for Nightrain members ONLY.

Tomorrow, Wednesday January 6th, at 10am PST, an email will be sent to your email address on file, outlying all the details for this Fan Sale. We will also share that information here once released. Ticket sales will begin at 11am PST.

These tickets are NOT available to the public, ONLY to Nightrain members.

A few quick notes about the Fan Sale:

This is open to CURRENT Nightrain members ONLY.
There will be a 2 ticket limit per show, per member.
GA Tickets Only (If you want VIP, you will have to buy those through the public sale)


Again, you will not be competing with the general public for these tickets. They have been set aside especially for you.

Great news for the members of the Nightrain. I still have a bitter taste because I was not able to renew my membership **before** the announcement, and I have paid 2 years in the past...

awesome news I'm still out but I don't care going to pay whatever it is to get out there, currently watching the 02 concert from a few years ago getting ready!

It would be nice to know if this is a one and done deal or if they will be doing a tour as well. Need to know if Im flying to Cali

I think this will be a tour and not just a one off performance. I'll be home streaming it. For me, it's just too much money. Also no seats. I can't be at a concert where it's just standing due to my disability.  I have to alternate between sitting and standing.

Axl & SLash is good enough for me. Just need to know if this is the only show they will be playing or if a tour is actually happening,

If a band starts announcing shows at the same time they're announced as a festival headliner, chances are festivals wouldn't book that band.
These kinds of festivals want the exclusivity.

The Coachella lineup announcement might have forced GNR to go public before they were 100% ready. It might be that not all contracts are finalized at this time. Axl, Slash and Duff are obviously a done deal, but there might be some details remaining when it comes to the rest of the band lineup.

That might also be the reason Axl pulled out of Kimmel's show, because he didn't have ALL the answers ready to go just yet.

It was Coachella's announcement deadline, not GNRs.



Remember Axl's "the only thing that's confirmed" tweet at new years.. Sure it was made like a joke, but there might be some truth behind it.

Agreed! If this is a one shot deal, then I'm definitely going or Else I couldn't live with myself. But it's the 25 stadium tour then I'm prob. Skipping coachella! Need more info!!!!

Of course they are going to tour. I'm sure as soon as Coachella is sold out other dates will be announced.

My guess is the line-up release is written in a way that avoids the "it's not a full reunion" headlines.

I'm genuinely over the moon that it looks like Richard, Frank, Dizzy & Pitman are on board.

Im really looking forward to this version of the lineup as well. I am kind of viewing this more of the next and probably final chapter of GnR rather than just a reunion. If the tour goes well, I can see them doing an album and another tour down the road! We could be in for some great times.

It is a very cool gesture that some tickets are being set aside for GNR fans. I wish I would be able to attend but I'll need to wait and hope they do the rumored tour after Coachella.

For all the nitpicking I do and opinions on how I would have done things (admittedly the world would be a worse place if I were in charge of anything)...

It is amazing what TB has done in the time since they have taken over. I have joked in the past about belt buckles etc... but even recently with the autographs the Nightrain has had a lot of value for the $10 it is for a membership. The exclusivity of these tickets for a festival that is historically a very hard ticket to get, this is awesome.

I know it is being discussed in another thread that no move is going to make everyone happy, but whether you lost your favorite member or gained them back in the last year, these people have moved mountains making these recent announcements possible and that can't be ignored.

Yes it is!  I'm going to save my money and maybe even do a little overtime to splurge on a VIP package for a Chicago show.  After the GG and Brooklyn Bowl and being up front to see Michael C Hall in LAZARUS I wouldn't be happy without a really good seat!  8)

If Gibbo's balls are on the line, I would suggest no more shows in the states and head straight to Europe  :)

I emailed customer service and they told me to keep checking every day.. i'm a member but I didn't pay. serves me right really, and it's nice that they're rewarding the people who did pay.

Last year they did, courtesy of Tmobile, on Coachellas youtube channel.

No idea about this year, yet.

Edit: to add, I think it was JUST the first weekend, last year.  But not 100% sure.

Yeah, I had Xmas bonus/gift money set aside to do the $10 membership and, like, the DAY before I went to re-up my membership, they'd shut it off.  Bad timing on my part.  I keep checking, too.

Hoping once the Coachella ticket stuff dies down, they'll reopen.

I hope so, because I've had such shit luck with tickets lately, tried to get tickets for muse and they sold out within a minute on ticketmaster, absolute joke. I had no problems getting guns tickets in 06, 10, and 2012 because it was the new lineup whereas this is completely different. I just really hope I can see these guys, it still hasn't sunk in that it's happening.

I make really really good money and I can't afford it...  Sucks...

Same boat here. 3 nights in Cali + tickets would cost nearly 3 grand.  God I hope this isn't a Led Zep type one-off.

I actually thought I was signed up, but didn't realize you had to buy something too.

The day I went to check to make sure I was good was the day they shut it off.

My own fault, ultimately.  I can't gripe.  And as I said, if I was signed up all that time, I wouldn't really dig someone coming in at the 11th hour and getting the same perks I was getting as a long time member.

Live and learn.  And if they truly do stadiums, I don't know we'd need presales anyway.  But I am driving to the venue itself the day they go one sale.  Not fucking around.

Best way to do it would be to make a vacation out of it.  Great thing about it being in April is that the weather will be perfect (would be unbearably hot in the summer).  That part of California is close to both LA and San Diego, so plenty to do and see.

Speaking of loot, thats the one part I regret.  I'd love to pick up some of the inevitable GnR Coachella swag that's there.

But alas....tis not to be.

Tickets acquired just in case it's a one off.  If nothing else is announced I'm going to California in April!  I'd rather go on a road trip and see 3 or 4 GNR shows in Canada / US (Vegas / Toronto / NYC / etc.) for the same price.  But I can't risk this being a one time deal and missing it.
