How long has this been "up"? The Digital version of Nighttrain membership out of stock? Since the web site relaunch? Maybe I just missed the discussion...

I was able to renew my membership yesterday. Must have just happened.

Could it be that ticket scalpers started signing up for memberships recently?

maybe they won't have the $10 option anymore. Larger packages to match increased demand?

It would be a shame, cuz many international users liked that option where you didn't have to pay for international shipping and sometimes import sales taxes.

Hopefully they work something out that appeases most everyone. The Nightrain is full capacity right now, but I'm sure spots will open when the time is right.

Has it been stated that it's "full capacity"?

To me that seems rather strange, they earn money on this.

It would defeat the purpose of a "fan club" not to have room for everyone I think. In some cases it could turn people away from Guns. "Well, they don't seem to want me as a fan..."




Personally, I think there's another explanation.

Yes, you make money on new members, but then you risk alienating your old members...

And let's say you plan on something that involves X number of people, and then suddenly there's a big influx of new members, those plans won't work anymore. Even if you're making money....

I noticed because my plan was to sign up after xmas, with some xmas $$ i knew was coming. ;)

Went to sign up today and.....nada.

Interesting timing, imho. Might not mean anything, i guess. We'll see.

I'll keep an eye out to see if/when it gets turned back on.

I don't know. But I know what's been offered in the past.

So imagine of you wanna offer the same perks to the fan club members, but suddenly there's a lot more takers.
It would be harder to keep up the quality.

I was just using that expression. It's full for now since they're currently not accepting new members. It's only temporary though.

But do you think it's full because there's a definitive cap on how many members they can have, or because they are preparing some new packages perhaps.

I can see a thing like a live concert broadcast could be problematic. The server might go down if too many people are logging on.

So, yeah.

I would guess they're preparing new packages, but that's just a guess. It's possible they've been flooded by new subscriptions in anticipation of what might come. But I think they're being proactive here and trying to stay ahead of the curve.

Just saw on the GNR Forum that I won the Flash Perk #3!  Its been a great day!  For any of those who won, is the prize automatically mailed to the winner?
