Title: The 20 Most Dynamic, Chaotic, Entertaining Frontmen And Frontwomen Of All-Time
Post by: HBK on August 25, 2015, 11:46:52 PM
10. Axl Rose (Guns N? Roses)

Destructive, intimidating, and volatile, Axl Rose was the complete package: the pretty boy with a temper that added an extra dash of edginess to Guns N? Roses. Switching between rhythmic screams and high-pitched singing, Rose?s vocals always offered an intensity that felt like a punch to the gut. But even more intense was his stage presence, ready to pick a fight at all times. We all know of that 1991 performance at the Riverport Amphitheater, where the frontman fought a fan over a video camera, and then left the stage. A riot began shortly after, resulting in over $200,000 in damages. He also started to show up at performances hours late, which often resulted in more riots. Axl was a diva, a ticking time bomb that might or might not give you what you came for. He did things on his own terms ? for better or worse.

Dude's one of a kind.

Been a rock fan my whole life, and really never saw anyone like him in terms of stage presence and overall ability.

Know what one of my favorite things is?  How he would run 100 MPH from side to side and still belt it out.  It was different.

And awesome.

Beyonce, Kayne West, and Bjork??? I disagree. Axl should be much higher on this list. What about Jim Morrison?

The Bjork thing seems about as random as it gets.

Nothing new about Axl. Why keep generating these lists.

Jim Morrison - as much as I like the doors - was actually pretty boring on stage. He had a few isolated events (Miami being one of them) that have kind of skewed his so-called legendary stage performances. For the most part, he didn't really do anything but stand still or pass out.

Didn't he tell Glastonbury that he was the greatest Living Rock star on the planet, so why wouldn't he be on that list

I guess you better put him on the list or he'll interrupt it to tell us all that Beyonce is one of the most dynamic, chaotic, entertaining front women of all time.

The Bjork thing seems about as random as it gets.

Bjork is amazing, very unique and fits well into the chaotic category

I am not sure about Kanye West though  :hihi:
