I just wanted to know what people's favorite music videos are.
I would have to say You Could Be Mine or November Rain. It's hard for me to decide. Sorry if this was already posted.

They did some good ones, its a tough choice probably November rain or estranged

November Rain was the best ever,and I am not saying that from a GNR fan standpoint.......it's just.......the best freaking music video ever.

You Could Be Mine is my favourite. I know its mostly T2 footage but the live footage is the best! I love Duffs crowd surfing, as well as the 'decibel overload' and the 'waste of ammo' ending, brilliant!

WTTJ is also cool, when Axl gets off the bus its very symbolic, sort of like 'I've arrived world, better look out!'. Also, when Slash is outside the TV shop drinking out of a paper bag, its very cool. Not to mention Axl's hair!!

I love every Guns N' Roses video, but I think my favourite would have to be "November Rain".  Short of Michael Jackson, I've never seen such an epic video with such an intricate plotline, not to mention a great song.  But GN'R are in a league of their own - NR remains, to this day, my favourite music video.  Actually, I only saw it for the first time like two years ago.  But that was an important thing, because it was the video, and that song, that got me to buy a Guns N' Roses album in the first place.  I mean, I'd heard "Sweet Child O' Mine" (which is my favourite GN'R song), but somehow at that time, "November Rain" just spoke to me somehow.  It was such a beautiful song that I went out as soon as I had enough money to buy Use Your Illusion I, which began my love affair with Guns N' Roses.

Anyway, besides that, the video just has so many parts of it that I love.  I love Slash's guitar solo in the desert (although that was ruined for me recently when someone pointed out to me that the electric guitar wasn't plugged in), I love Axl's piano playing with the symphony (he looks a lot like Elton John there).  Axl's acting is pretty good, considering that it's a music video and he's playing himself.  The swallowing the pills to get to sleep, the happiness at the wedding (although I've never seen as much tongue at a wedding kiss as between Axl and Stephanie there), the sadness at the funeral, and having the rain wash away his tears at the end.

But I think my favourite parts of the video are the ones where you see the group together, like at the wedding where Slash and Duff find Axl's ring, and in the bar where they're smoking and drinking and having a good time.  They just seem like a bunch of old friends, like a band of people you knew from around town.  It all stands in sharp contrast to the group's subsequent messy breakup and Axl's transformation into General Rose, all-powerful dictator of the band with no tolerance for the opposition within the band.  In "November Rain", we see the original Guns N' Roses as a close group of friends, which feels like an intimate glimpse behind their rock star personas.

It's hard to decide. But I like "Sweet Child O Mine" the best. I like the simplicity of it. And they all look great in that video.  [love] "Paradise City" is cool too.

I don't really like Axl's look in the "Paradise City" video with the all-white outfit and the lack of a bandana, and I don't like his hair tied back in the "Yesterdays" video.  And the "You Could Be Mine" video has a little too much T2 footage, and not enough is made of Arnold hunting down the band.  But aside from that, I love 'em all!

Estranged cos well it's just a classic so many memorable scenes Slash emerging from the water, Axl and the Dolphins it's class, but actually so is Don't Cry and You Could Be Mine, it's a 3 way tie for me

November Rain out of the ones I've seen, I live in the UK and we only get chance to see a few videos, for instance the video for Estranged is never on TV.  Also HMV is not stockin the makin of that video any more so I might never see it unless I can download it!    :-\

Yeah it sucks here in the UK, we mainly see November Rain, Sweet child o' mine and You could be mine. There is a odd chance that Paradise City might come on VH-1 Classic. What are the trilogy videos like? I haven't seen any of them. I take it that each one is a continuation of a story.

Oh a my favourite vid has to be "You could be mine" mainly for the live footage, Axl looks so cool :smoking:. And i'm a big Terminator film.

The so-called "Trilogy" comprises Don't Cry, November Rain and Estranged (I'm not sure whether this is the correct order). They're called like this because they're meant to be like sequels one to another. November Rain is based on a short story by Del James ("Without You") and Estranged was supposed to be the sequel that would explain the end of the story, but the breaking up between Axl and Stephanie Seymour prevented them from shooting what they've plannned, so they had to go in a different direction.

There's a "making of" for each of these videos that quite explains all this, plus providing alot of info on the band, the songs etc. Dunno how it goes in the US and UK, but at least where I live (Brazil), all the 3 "making of" are available for rent at any good videostore. They're kinda a "must see" for a hardcore GNR fan. Hope this helps! :)

SCOM is the best, i think, but November Rain is just GREAT!

Here's a video I really like, and I guess I'm kinda alone on this, since I never see it mentioned: The Garden. Actually, I think it's quite an underrated/unknown video, and I've never seen it played on MTV or anywhere else.

I like the "decadence" atmosphere of it, which goes along so well with the psychodelism of the song and its lyrics. The guys all look awful, like they're all in a huge hangover, but that's cool and it just fits the rest of the imagery so well - Washington Square, Off-Broadway streets full of porno-shops, dealers, pimps and hookers. The mixing between colored and b&w images is pretty cool as well.

Duff, Slash n' Axl kick!

Probably my favorite that I've seen and downloaded from Kazaa is the "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" video.  It was more of live footage of the song from the Freddie Mercury benefit concert.  It's one of my favorite songs, and the audio from the show is on the Live Era set.  It's been said that that was the last glimpse of GN'R as a solid unit.

Other good ones are "Sweet Child of Mine", "Yesterdays", "Estranged", "November Rain", "Paradise City", and "Garden of Eden".

well YCBM is one of my all time fav songs so i love that one. SCOM is kick ass coz it shows the band playing and chilling. WTTJ is so cool like everyone has mentioned before me. Paradise City-like i said about SCOM. November Rain and Estranged are musical epics and great videos! also its pretty funny when Slash drives that girl of the cliff in the car, it explodes, then throws the guitar. lol. you know what? THEY ALL KICK ASS

My favorite is one that I didn't see mentioned in here, Live and Let Die.  I don't know why I like it as much as I do, I just do, I guess because it's Guns N' Roses, unfettered, no stupid, corny story line, no groupies dancing on the hoods of cars, none of the other cheesy 'metal' or 'rock' filler ingredients in a video, just them - live and in your face, and some great shots of them when they were 'young and their hearts were open books'.

Best: November Rain. It's like some great movie wrapped in 9 minutes.
funniest: Garden of Eden. I think they made the video just for laughs : ok:

Welcome To The Jungle (Live Era) - Have you ever found a picture in the school yearbook of this girl who used to make you lose your breath. That's what it is like to watch this video. You just say to yourself, "wow, holy shit I remember...." This video encapsulates what made Gn'R the greatest fuckin' band in the world. And just like that girl, it saddens you they're no longer around. 

Don't Cry - I always enjoy watching it much more so than November Rain or Estranged. Especially from Slash's guitar solo on, it's almost as if Morohan just shot every frame perfectly. It's a sly 3 minutes long, I find some parts of Estranged and November Rain tedious to watch because they are such long videos. Plus, always seeing the Nirvana hat next to Axl kinda makes me chuckle a bit.

You Could Be Mine - This is the video I have seen the least. So every time it comes on, it just floors me. The live performanec, the T2 shots, the amazing song. It's such a classic - no frills - hard rock video.

This one is on launch.  I watch it on a daily basis now.   :yes:

I've heard people diss the UYI videos and say they're way too bloated. I've also heard people say they're cheesy. But whatever, I loved all of them for their over-the-topness.

November Rain is the greatest music video of all time, period.

Estranged is also one of my favorites. How can ya not love those dolphins? And then Slash comes up out of the water---that's just killer!!! He truly is a God.

Sweet Child O'Mine is also one of my favorites, even though it's very simple. That's when Axl looked the coolest.

The original "It's So Easy" music video has to be my favorite. I remember downloading it and watching it the first time.. its honestly the best and im not saying it just cause its an original answer.

LALD is my conventional answer... some of the footage is just amazing. Axl has this one scream and he looks like a freaking killer..

That being said.. most of the GNR music videos are pretty embarresing for me. I really dont enjoy em much.

By far Estranged is my fav video with Dont Cry being the runner up.  I really enjoy them all except for maybe garden of eden & since i dont have you...and yes i have noticed axl sitting on top of the bodyguard at the end of ycbm....i mean how can you miss it, the bodyguard is a 6"8 350lb black man..lol
