Voted.  Attended both bands in Milano in 2012. No doubt. Guns rocked for 3 hours+, Cr?e were a huge dissapointment. And I actually looked forward to see Motley, because I like their music.

Voted!! No real competition in my eyes. No disrespect to The Crue, but GNR kills it live. Ive seen the Crue and they were OK. Tommy Lee is annoying. Talks in between songs. A 50 year old telling girls to flash just seems creepy at this point. Plus they clearly have pre-recorded backing vocals. Axl always sings live.

have you seen them perform on TV, youtube, etc.? I seem to remember you having no problem negatively judging Axl via YouTube clips. I apologize in advance if that wasn't you.

I've never seen Crue filmed either. Not sure if I am who you are referring to. I am someone who believes there has been a decline in Axl's voice since 2011 but I cannot remember discussing youtube clips in any great length here. I do not really watch many of the gnr youtube clips and the last show I watched in its entirety on a screen was Rio 11.

We get it, you can't vote for your alleged favorite band in a fun poll because you don't have all the facts.

All I know is Vince Neil is horrific live....Axl on his worst day ever is hands down better than Vince.

Fair enough, maybe that wasn't you I was thinking of. I don't think the point of these polls is to have seen every band and make an educational choice for each matchup to determine an ultimate winner. I voted in each matchup, having only seen a handful of the bands. But, to each their own.

Did you vote for AC/DC over Mot?rhead? I haven't had the pleasure of seeing either LIVE, but I cast my vote for AC/DC.

I have not really had a chance to look at the other bands. That is a close one. DC are definitely better now as Lemmy's voice is shot but Motorhead too have been an excellent band.

why does everything have to be so serious? I find it a little odd that someone who regularly posts on a GNR message board can't find it within themselves to vote for GNR over the Cr?e in any poll. Maybe someday a formal investigation will be made by the experts in the music industry and they can ultimately decide on who is a better live band. Until then though, I'll vote GNR.

Its a bullshit poll. If you youtube motley crue from 2014 and GNR from 2014 its a no brainer. Vince Neil can't even sing on key, he just shouts our the words and lets the crowd since half of the songs. Axl is still screaming and running and performing for 3 hour shows. I mean I know I biased to GNR but still, this one is a no brainer.

I voted 6 times from different browsers, and my phone,2 hrs before pole closed and the final # never changed, and I suspect they weren't going to let it, as Crue is on their last hurrah. So pretty sure they weren't gonna give it to GNR, anyway.
