They are doing a weekend of live shows on palladia to lead up to the premiere of their new kings of leon concert, tonight (with replay tomorrow). But...they used it. Thats gotta be somewhat encouraging. Especially considering the history of this particular piece (scheduled, pulled, mothballed for a long time). I like the channel but they only have new stuff very rarely, most of the programming is recycled over and over.

I like the channel but they only have new stuff very rarely, most of the programming is recycled over and over. Sorry, I didn't mean to imply it was new! It's definitely a rebroadcast. But, rebroadcast or not, I figured it would be interesting to folks, since it was a live GnR show on TV. I know they DID ultimately have the full show on, maybe a year or so back, after the original debacle (showing a cut version, with the full version scheduled for broadcast a couple days later, that was ultimately pulled from the schedule, and then not broadcast for months). |
