All of his insults or negativity pertained to the battle of GNR and legal nonsense. Title: Re: Slash Compliments Axl Post by: ice cream sand pig on November 09, 2014, 01:29:02 AM I really like the approach the interviewers took that time. Rather than try and capitalize on the same old drama they turned the opportunity for Slash to speak about Axl into a pleasant occasion for everyone involved. It was great. I hope it marks the beginning of a new trend for interviews where Slash and Axl speak only positively about each other. How great would it be if this became the norm for both of them?
It may be wishful thinking, and I'm definitely no reunionist, but at the least it sure would be neat to see an end to all the bad blood. It would be better for us if they weren't such devoted blood enemies... issues like rights and getting all parties signed off on things like the DVD release .. we could have maybe had it a year ago if they were on better terms. |
