I would think most definitely no lol

otherwise i dont think hed separate that from then rehearsing with GNR

I'm not sure why he'd be mixing that. So I don't think so....

Yeah, I would hope they would go with Bob Ludwig again for that after the top-notch job he did on CD.

Ah, so they haven't started just yet.

Still very much hope we get word Axl actually showed up with the rest of the team and joined in. 

I think the Dead Daisies, with Richard and Dizzy, just finished a tour in Australia. So they should be on their way to L.A. (or they landed earlier today).

Personally, I hope TWAT becomes a regular on the upcoming tour. I would like to hear Oh, My God too  :beer:

Ditto- I was fortunate enough to here them play TWAT live for 1 of the last times at 1 of the 2 Canada shows I saw- We were up front screaming for "TWAT" at the top of our lungs & it seemed to give AXL that little push he needed to stretch himself vocally & play it-they nailed it & we went beserk! I didnt see it on any set list since then - I think it's just too much of a strain on AXL,s voice especially when performing 20-25 songs full-tilit every show but I hope to hear it on this tour cause it was pure magic live! :beer:

Ludwig did a great job, but that was the mastering of the record.

Caram and Andy Wallace did the mixing.

Ludwig should be mastering everything these days. He did a fantastic job.

I wouldn't get your hopes up about Axl being at rehearsals

Which is unfortunate.  I see no plausible argument him being here getting in form with the rest of them is a bad thing.

i would THINK its beneficial for him and the band if he did.... but i dont know, not a big deal to me

I think if comes out as ill prepared as he has in the past for the first night of a tour, an already valid point becomes particularly glaring.

Basically, its all going to come down to what happens in 10 days.

There is a mic on that pic at the drums...and since I know nothing about making music or rehearsing for a show :

Is that a normal thing for rehearsals or are they recording some stuff ?

(I can imagine a mic is needed to test the sound system or so...but for me it's normal too to rehearse unplugged...help me out )

I would imagine it's for the production team in order for them to fine tune the sound mix before the tour starts.

I guess this way, the audio guys get the sounds from the instruments so they can figure out mic placements and such at rehearsals. Also gives them a chance to get the sound for the in ear monitors for the guys in the band. Imagine being a guitar player with a band in a small space. You might have trouble hearing what you're playing, but with the in ear monitors, it's probably a little easier to just hear your instrument instead of everybody's...

As far as I know, the sound from each instrument and microphone goes to two sets of audio guys. There's the monitor engineers who take care of what the band hears and then the Front of House engineers who take care of what the crowd hears.
