Title: What are the chances of a live album from the Las Vegas shows?
Post by: TrueRock&Roll on March 19, 2013, 03:13:11 PM
Has there been any info on this? A live album of this would be absolutely incredible. The best band ever releasing a legit live album. I'd be in Heaven if they put that out.

The odds of this are slightly less than the odds of any GNR being released.  8)

Well as Appetite For Democracy is coming out as a film in theatres then also dvd/blu ray, surely a live cd soundtrack/live album of that show/film would make sense. lets hope

since there is a really high quality soundboard bootleg out from one of the vegas shows, i dont think there is much of a chance.

or a bonus audio disc for the vegas dvd deluxe edition or something like that

How do you figure that? I mean you are right that there are some good quality bootlegs of those and other shows. But bootlegs don't make any money for the band, their label, management etc... And even tho those shows didn't have anyone from the Appetite line up except Axl, they still marked the 25th bday of Appetite. I'm suprised they didn't wanna release this last year. Would've been the 25th year and better timing.

That and like I said, movies and concert films normally have a soundtrack to accompany them. Why wouldn't this?
