i was there too, I was in the platinum section which was pretty far from the mainstage so I couldn't lick too many clear pictures from my Nokia N9. Anyway I clicked one with Wiley E Oliver IV  of Brand New Machine. But Axl and the rest of the band put up an amazing show! It rocked out every other concert I have ever been to by other bands! Axl entertained the crowd by hiding behind the drums and saying "Axl Rose has gone to sleep" when he wanted to the crowd to raise their tempo and then putting on a funny mask and saying "Axl has left the stage" while playing "Knocking on Heaven's door".
His voice at his sublime best, it was like we were still in the Appetite era, no it sounded even better than that!
It is a pity that the most in the crowd didn't know the Chinese Democracy songs, but they really took to it when Guns n' Roses played "Better". It was simply an awesome performance. The crowd demanded more after Guns n' Roses played their staple encore Paradise city and bowed and left. And Axl didn't disappoint them!
He told them that the sound system might be off since everyone started sounded down at the end of the show and he said he apologise in advance if it doesn't work well.
The band started playing "There was a time" but then Axl knew the crowd which hasn't heard the Chinese Democracy wouldn't dig that so he stopped that and they started playing Nice Boys don't play rock and roll. Tommy was really pissed off since his guitar didn't sound right and threw on stage and barged off. Then Ron picked it up and tried to play his parts but he gave it up to go back to playing his own guitar when he knew it wasn't working. At the end of that Axl thanked the crowd and they left us with amazing memories that atleast I am going to cherish for the rest of my life.
He dedicated the concert to Ravi Shankar who passed away on the same day.

One in a million was not played. This article is probably written by some poser who didn't know half the songs they played yesterday and either heard the songs that people were shouting about there or just did a cursory search online to find out the names of the prominent Guns n' Roses and just mentioned them in his article. This article is being recycled by other news outlets and websits in India which is rather pathetic on their part.

No way.

If you put 5000 fans on a field, it looks like 5000.

What we saw at all Indian shows weren't 5000 per show. I think the more correct number per show was 20,000-30,000 per show....
