Title: Re: Slash Tour 2013 (Europe) Post by: janne on February 20, 2013, 04:23:19 AM I was yesterday at Slash's concert in Helsinki ;D. I don't care what some guys are saying but for me the collaboration between Myles and Slash is a dream come true. Setlist was amazing - they relied on new songs, which tells that this group is now a band, not Slash's solo project. They had only 5-6 GnR songs and they fitted nicely to the set. Only one VR song, Slither, and maybe two Snakepit's songs. Old songs sounded fresh. I didn't get the feeling that I have heard these songs thousands times (like I had in GNR gigs...). For example Mr Brownstone had a cool intro that I haven't heard before. Rocket Queen had looong solo in middle (maybe too long, my friend almost fell asleep ;)). Only bad thing was that sound system sucked. It was really hard to hear what Myles was singing. It was a total mess. I hope that others had better seats...
