new Adler album?  I dont think I have ever looked forward to a new record less than I do at this moment

same normaly everytime a gunner guy ex or current (exept buckethead) puts an album out its a must have. but that one song is enough to say im not interested

I don't even drink but this song makes me want to start.  Jesus what decade was that song recorded in?  I'm kidding it was obviously recorded in the 80's. It sounds like a really really bad Kiss b-side.  Could this thing sound anymore dated?  Its funny, the stuff he actually did record in the 80's sounds far less dated than this.

Everything that I've learned about Steven Adler over the years tells me that if he were calling the shots, AFD would've sounded exactly like this.

I just decided to look into preordering the album.  For the album alone it will cost me over $18 because of tax and shipping.  Who would preorder this thing?

No idea. This is the sort of album I think things like Spotify were made for. I'm either going to love it or hate it, and I'd rather listen to it first instead of pay so much and then find it's the latter.

I wouldn't pay more then $10. It sounded like an old Winger song or one of those one hit wonder hair metal bands from the 80's and I should know I grew up in the 80's and heard a lot of bands sound like this. But mostly it sounded like Winger with Kip Winger singing. I would be surprised if this album sold 20,00 copies and that would be lucky.

Hanover, I am serious when I say it would be lucky to sell 10,000 copies.  I just don't see who is going to buy this.  For some reason the distributors that Adler uses charge absurd shipping prices.  If this is a $10 album at Best Buy I might give it a try, but there is no chance I pay $18 for this.  Hell Slash's release of Apocalyptic Love with 2 bonus discs is selling for $20.

I totally agree with you a 100%. I meant to put 20,000 not 20,00. I think you got the point. But $18 is a lot for a bands first record and there trying to get big. My figure of 20,000 was worldwide not just the US. Only time will tell, it did get a good review i just read but the guy sounded like he hated Axl and would love this to get big just to stick it to Axl which I think is stupid because the more rock, the better. The electronic music is just killing my ears, as is the pop crap. I wish Alder nothing but luck but from that first song I just wanted to turn it off. Maybe the other songs will be better, Slash did do a song on the record, maybe that will be good? we shall see!

Itunes and Amazon.com now carry the album in MP3 form only.  I'd really prefer the CD, but I'm with you guys about the shipping cost.  To hell with paying $18 for a CD when I can get it for half that price in MP3 form on Amazon.
