SLASH Filming 'You're A Lie' Video This Weekend - Apr. 3, 2012

On Saturday, April 7, legendary guitarist Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES) will shoot a "dark" video for the song "You're A Lie" with director Anthony Leonardi III. Leonardi is also helming the first feature film produced by Slash, called "Nothing To Fear", which was recently picked up for distribution by Anchor Bay Entertainment. The movie is the first of a proposed series of horror films produced by Slash's company, called Slasher Films, which he launched last year in partnership with two other producers. The film began shooting last month in Louisiana, with Anne Heche and others confirmed for the cast.

"You're A Lie", which can be streamed in its entirety at RollingStone.com, comes off Slash's second solo album, "Apocalyptic Love", due on May 22 via his own label Dik Hayd International distributed through EMI.

awesome- till vocals come in- is he trying to do Axl's deep voice thing? I dont know i guess i just dont like him w/Slash- but honestly after the intro, song is just avg.- LIKE A LOT OF SLASH tunes- but his incredible licks & signature sound of course save it :smoking:

If you listen to alter bridge you will see he uses his low voice 75% of the time. For Slash for some reason he goes high 90%
