Capacity of the Spaladium Arena for concerts is somewhere around 12.000, maybe a bit more. I believe gnr-4-ever wrote about it earlier somewhere.

Anyways, just watched the news and they are saying the Spaladium Arena is in financial troubles, they've had their power cut off today because of unpaid bills and every event in the month of March has been cancelled or delayed. Doesn't look good at the moment, hope it gets resolved ASAP.

Though, they did mention GN'R was booked for July and said that event shouldn't come under any threat of not happening. But you never know what's gonna happen when you live in a corrupted society.  :)

Someone knows if split is a nice place for tourist as well?
I want to combine GNR show with my summer Europe vocation...

if you are comming to split, I suggest you also go to island "Hvar" , an hour away by boat. It's the one of the hottest world destinations!

Damn, been to Croatia on vacation last summer. Awesome country, maybe I could get my girl convinced to go again around this date  ;D

290,00 kuna parter (38 euros)
320,00 kuna tribine (42 euros)

but I now in my home town!!! my dream come true :) ever since I saw RIR3 I was hoping they'd eventually hear of my home town :) and now they finally play here :)

Still no news about this show. The press conference which was scheduled to happen yesterday either did not happen or it did happen and they are yet to report about it. Either way, the situation around the venue still doesn't look good, the debt is around 16 million kuna (around 2 million Euros) and the venue has been closed and without electricity until further notice.

Will post any news if they happen.

They did announce The Cult will be playing at the venue on the 3rd of July, and the tickets are on sale already. Which makes me a bit more optimistic!

Made a phone call to the website that's selling the tickets a few hours ago, they say the promotor is the one who gave them the pics they used. They have fixed it, but you can still see the G2R logo on the newsletter part of the page.

Not a big deal anyway, it's not like everyone in Croatia knows what Guns 2 Roses means.  ;D

^ Two hundred extra tickets for the "Golden Circle" to be made available tomorrow 'cause of huge interest.
Also the opening acts will be known on the 15th of June.

Also due to request of the concert organizer, the complete lower-bowl of seats will be pulled-off. This means more standing tickets available and also larger (as gnr-4-ever wrote) fan-pit (Golden circle). So only fan-pit, standing and upper-bowl tickets are available now. Assuming the fan-pit tix won't last long  :hihi:  : ok:

I'll be in Split first thing tomorrow morning, got a hour and 20 minutes of drive so I'll be there at around 7:30h or something like that.

how can I get in touch with someone from Split? it was a long time since i last saw Lucky and he obviously changed his phone number. still haven't bought a ticket because I am a bit uneasy about waiting from 2am til 8.30 for a train home from split and I'd like to try and fix that problem. hopefully Lucky will read the board today

Just got home from the show, I was blown away. Did not expect such a huge setlist, Shackler's at the end was a huge bonus! :)

Will post a review probably later today as it's 4 am here atm, took around 300 pics and some of them are pretty nice. Also recorded a bunch of videos, from the pit so I think you'll like them.

What is venessa's twitter or instagram name? I know she took photo's when i met axl, she might have put them online at the time.

Okay, so where to start? I was at the venue very early in the morning, took some photos and hung out with some people at the venue and around it. Saw some old friends and met a bunch of new people.

Doors opened at around 19:20h something like that, got inside and went almost front row immediately. Opening acts started at 20:00 and finished around 21:30 and then the waiting started, stage was ready at around 22:10 maybe and I just looked at my phone at the time and saw a tweet from Ron that they are hitting the stage soon so I knew it's gonna start in a few mins.

As the opening riff of CD started the place went nuts, I can now say that song has moved up to #1 on the "my favorite GN'R song of all time" list replacing Nightrain.  :)
Jungle was awesome, there was lots of wrestling where I was standing so after Jungle Axl told everyone to move back a bit for safety reasons ... ISE was kiler too as was Mr. Brownstone... what impressed me most about Sorry was most of the pople around me were singing and everyone knew the lyrics and stuff... Rocket Queen was like 11 minutes long  :hihi: , and then Estranged - probably the highlight of the night alongside Shackler's Revenge in the encore. The band was in a great mood, especially Axl. I remember while introducing the band he said something about Frank like "On the drums we have this guy, he's been with us for the past 2 shows" and Frank liked it and laughed his ass off. Also during KOHD Axl commented on how people where throwing stuff on stage (shirts, flags, women underwear, bandanas, posters etc.), I think he liked it. Sweet child was also great, the place was jumping and singing alongside Axl ... I could barely hear him sing with everyone around me screaming ... people really dig that song live. Civil War was epic too ... but what impressed me most was the lenght of the show and the huge setlist. We got like 3 hours and 20 minutes of pure rock n' roll, I loved every second of it and hopefully they come back to Croatia some day. This was the 2nd time in 2 years that they were here, and I think they liked Split a lot. Dizzy said it was one of the most beautiful places they have been to in years, so hopefully they come back again soon. :) And yeah, that's about it ... there's probably a lot more details that happened which I will probably remember when the dust settles down ... it was a amazing night!!
