Hey Gunners,

For those of you attending the Feb 10 Roseland show next friday, I've secured a spot close to the venue for a pre-party.  We have the entire second floor of the bar reserved.  Here is the place....

We have the space from around 6pm to 10pm.  Let me know if you can make it.  I'll do my best to try and get a band member to stop by. No promises :)

The DOORS probably open around 9....when you hit the venue will largely depend on how close you want to be to the stage.  I'd bet GnR aren't on stage til after 10 (and probably close to 11).

My wife and I are probably going to come by.  Depends on how bad traffic is coming into the city.....I'm hoping to get to town around 7-ish.

GNR has never hit the stage around 9.  On a Friday night in NYC, I'm thinking around midnight.  I have no interest in trying to squeeze to the front...did that at Hammerstein and had the worst time ever.  

Hammerstein shows average GNR on-stage time was maybe 11 or a little later, if I remember correctly...?

if we leave the bar around 10, i think we'll all make perfect time.

Back and sides, but that's probably far more comfortable (and easier access to the bar!) then trying to be at the rail.

As I've said before, this is my wife's first GnR show.  I don't want to scar her (literally or figuratively).

Cool...glad we got some forum members coming.   There's no rule when we have to leave the bar and head to the concert...people are free to come and go as they please.   I've learned my lesson in the past:  don't over drink before a Guns show...they come on late and you don't want to be drunk when they do...ruins the show...and don't squeeze to the rail...not only will you be uncomfortable, but there's no way to take a piss but in your pants... :)

Oh, I will also be controlling he music...any requests?

I learned my lesson after MSG in 2006 when I wound up taking a nap on the sidewalk in front of the venue!  Good times.

1st time poster but have been checking in to the site for years to get my Guns updates.

The wife and I will be going to the show and would love to swing by for a drink or 3. Was not able to catch any east coast dates last year due to family vacation to see Mickey so it has been a while, 06 was the last time. Going to see all 3 NYC shows so this should be the start to one he'll of a week!  :peace:

Then I was BACK in Orlando (and then in Chicago), while they were around the NE (NY, CT, MA).

Two weeks for thanksgiving... Was a great trip, the only bummer was missing the GnR shows in the area. I saw them in Baltimore in 06 after a long hiatus, show in Greenville SC canceled in 02. This will be the most intimate show I have been to since the 1st guns show @ the jar in Phoenix in 87. I am gonna act like a kid again and hit all 3 shows in NYC, killer!

Gonna be one hell of a week for GnR fans, and too all those opposed; well......

I will also be stopping in ( with my brother & a friend) for at least a drink. Haven't decided what time train we'll be taking in yet. I'm a new poster, but have been reading for a while. Looking forward to meeting some of you!

The doors open at 9.  Then an opening act.  I don't think GNR will be on til 12.  It's a Friday night show in a club so expect to be out late.

Me, me, me!  For anyone who hasn't met me before, I am short with now short red hair.  Leaving here around 6 and live about 45 mins away so we should hit the bar by 7:30ish after parking and whatnot.  I think I have a lot of you folks on my FB, though!  See you all later!!! :peace: :beer:

I'll be the big (6ft3 260lbs) blond-ish guy with the enormous skull (punisher emblem) on his shirt.

We leave in about 5 min to head down to the city (2 hour drive-ish).

Per the box office, Manitoba is 10pm set time, Guns is 11pm.  (In theory...12 will probably end up being more accurate!)

Was nice to bump into you at the show.  You were one AWESOME motherfucker!  Thanks for helping get my short 5 foot 4 wife into position so she could see!

Stopped in and grabbed a few beers at Gossip.  Had a good time, wtf was up with the rap music they were playing from time to time though?  ;)

The "teaser" using Paradise City was my only complaint.

Empire City, etc....I was perfectly OK with that stuff.
