But I will definitely look into the other French shows too. ;) Title: Re: guns in France?? Post by: bolton on January 27, 2012, 01:55:14 PM are these shows festival shows or single guns shows?
Title: Re: guns in France?? Post by: One.In.A.Million on January 27, 2012, 02:05:00 PM are these shows festival shows or single guns shows? I would presume that most, if not all of these are arena shows... can't wait for this, the French definitely know how to welcome Guns N' Roses onto their shores. (Yes, I am pretty certain they are arena shows.....judging by the venue names etc.) Title: Re: guns in France?? Post by: dyd on January 27, 2012, 02:07:43 PM are these shows festival shows or single guns shows? yet they are all singles show, with the rumor of one festival Title: Re: guns in France?? Post by: One.In.A.Million on January 27, 2012, 03:01:35 PM Also Paris and GN'R are one of those special shows that's alot like GN'R in Vegas, NY, London or Tokyo. It's one of those "have to be there" shows, and I love the feeling of seeing Guns in such a special city.
Paris is one of those magical cities and to put on a Guns N' Roses show there, just makes it heavenly. 8) Title: Re: guns in France?? Post by: Slash2baz on January 27, 2012, 07:01:35 PM It's all arenas shows guys!
Tickets will be on sale on Feb 2d! :o This is confirmed by the booker, he started his communication (FB, twittee, newletter...) I got the newsletter from him, but it's in french : ok: Title: Re: guns in France?? Post by: One.In.A.Million on January 27, 2012, 07:25:43 PM It's all arenas shows guys! Seeing as my birthday is the 1st of February, what a birthday present all of these shows are!!! thanks GN'R!!!. : ok: Title: Re: guns in France?? Post by: DeN on January 28, 2012, 07:39:12 AM saw them in 1992, 2006 and 2010. so...count me in, probably!
Title: Re: guns in France?? Post by: Slash2baz on January 28, 2012, 10:23:20 AM this is the official newletter from the booker GDP (one of the biggest here in France)
http://newsletter.gdp.fr/newsletters/artists/GunsN%27Roses/2012-01-27/18-01/fr/www.gdp.fr/newsletters/12600.html It's all in french, but you can see a small biography of the band + tour dates... : ok: Title: Re: guns in France?? Post by: One.In.A.Million on January 28, 2012, 11:07:48 AM I know this is probably a standard question but how do yo go about getting pre-sale info for shows like this. Is it only a certain place, for instance a radio station or competition where they would let the information out.
I have been on pre-sales before but those where the ones in which HTGTH set up. I can't see anyway to find any information about getting information for both Paris and Dublin shows?. :-\ Title: Re: guns in France?? Post by: Slash2baz on January 28, 2012, 12:41:00 PM For french dates, what they call "pre-sales" is just because on Feb 2d you can order your tickets via the booker website; kind of exclusive sale before the general sales.
It's not related to Gn'R camp, or radio or something else it's just a deal between the booker and the dealers (fnac, Virgin...) : ok: So, the dates pre sales will start on Feb 2 on www.gdp.fr, and the day after in stores (Fnac, Virgin....) and websites like fnac.com, ticketnet.com ... ;) Title: Re: guns in France?? Really looking forward to this Paris show, but I'm still bummed that there's no Lille. Especially seeing as there seems to be more variety of cities this time round as well. So it would seem to make sense to stick Lille in there too, considering the success of the 2010 show. :D Title: Re: guns in France?? I just don't know what happened and why I was too drunk to get anything out of it. I'd really like to go back there  I've never been to southern France so I'm considering that as well. Title: Re: guns in France?? Post by: justme on January 31, 2012, 02:35:14 PM Do you know how is Toulon in this season? is it a cool place fot tourists? Toulon is not a very nice city, but you can find nice beaches ( = "plages du mourillon"). All around you have nice little town as "Le Castellet" (medieval city), "Sanary sur mer" or the national park of Port Cros ( http://www.portcrosparcnational.fr/accueil/ ). And I can bet that the weather will be hot and sunny! Title: Re: guns in France?? Post by: Mathieu on May 12, 2012, 11:01:10 AM no one in innocent for the rest http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLGUKSCTNQQ This is a really awesome news. I last saw no one is innocent about 15 years ago in Montreal. I used to wear their t-shirt until it turned out more grey than black. I will be glad to see their set in Strasbourg. A few videos of them: La Peau: http://youtu.be/yPWOQbGhZPI Nomenklatura: http://youtu.be/fEA7mOtV8hg Revolution.com: http://youtu.be/edh3NU4LsC4 Their old songs from the '90 had a strong Rage Against The Machine and Ministry, but still with their own touch to it. |
