Wiki says 19,252 capacity for concerts, one of the better looking venues in America if you ask me. :)

Looks great but checking around the net folks complain that the acoustics suck.  Read that the sound is horrible when the place is packed and even worse when it is not.  I've recently found plenty of tickets closer to the stage for much less than I paid so I plan on upgrading every chance I get.  I'd really love a chance to say hey to Jarmo just to put  face on the legend.

Just called the box office and was told the doors open at 8:30 and Adelitas Way will play from 10-10:30 and GNR will play from 11-2.

These guys are cool. They are trying hard and the crowd is just tuff with a bunch of assholes.

They seemed so psyched to be opening these shows, I was hoping the crowd would be nice to them.  You never can be too sure though.

Ha, as DJ was doing the first half of the SCOM solo. Ron walked towards the front of the stage, and kind of looked down at Rick. And then he proceded to fuckin own the second half of the solo, and ripped it a new ass..... ya never know, GN'R might have an idea that Rick is filming via this forum. You can sort of suspect a member of the GN'R family, Fernando, Beta, keeping an eye on the forum during a show. So what I'm saying is that Ron may very well have looked down because he knows someone is live streaming this show, kind of cool to think about it actually.  8) 8) 8)

Everyone! This was one of the best times ever! I held up a sign that said " smile for the board members " Axl , Ron, dj, tommy, Richard, Fernando, and jarmo was all fully aware of what was going on!

I had issues with a drunk guy trying to fight, then a security told me to put up iPhone. It went dead. We tweeted Fernando and got barriers and permission to finish the stream! My sign was taken by a lady to be brought to Axl to get signed and security made me leave before it was brought back after show :(

The show was insane...I thought the omaha was incredible but this was better. The sound of the band amazed me...wowzers!

WOW, got home about 5 hours ago and my brain is still sizzling. If anybody ever claims these guys were just as good as they were back in _ _ _ _                  they're effin' lying!  This GNR is the best EVER!  My seats ended up being just fine and all my worries about Axl's mic were completely unfounded, I could hear him perfectly.  Likewise with attendance, the place was almost packed and the fans were great.  I don't wanna sound like "that guy" but I swear there was a moment during CD that I was the only person in my entire area that was standing singing the song with my fist in the air that Axl looked right at me and nodded his approval.  I know I know, but even if not, that's how fucking amazing He was! The entire band had that connection with the audience.  Thanks Rick for the HTGTH connection.  Recognized a couple others from pics in here and it great to point you all out to my son, really added something to the show, if that was even possible.  I'm really trying to find a negative here....uh, almost 3 hours went too damn fast?

So cool to hear that the band (Fernando) helped out and gave Rick some batteries...

GN'R are really a class-act with their fans, what other band would do this?.

Hey guys I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'll be doing a live stream for Nashville and Southaven as well. I'll make sure I'll have 10 extra batteries. I burned through 6 of them before Fernando saved the day.

We owe you a huge thanks for doing this, I said earlier how it must have been hard for you to hold the device and point it the way you did. And I had to chuckle to myself when Ron blatantly looked down at ya, right before he took over from the SCOM solo, he knew alrite.  ;D ;D ;D

Thank you man! I'm a proud member! I had a sign that said " smile for the boards " . When Ron read it he had fun with it as well as tommy and DJ. I had an amazing time! Other side of the sign said " sign my Chinese democracy tattoo on my arm ". And I was holding up a sharpie for Axl to use. Vanessa came and got my sign and sharpie and said Axl is gonna sign it. She didn't come back out in time :( which sucked. I drove 12 hours for show and waited in line since 9am. That was gonna be my trophy.
Fernando is a stand up guy and really came to the aid with them batteries. Thank you all who responded to me seeking help with that!

Fantastic gig last night. The band is tighter than ever, Axl is singing better than ever. They started on time. They were interactive w/ the crowd. They played more passionately than I've ever seen.

Check out this review.  Not bad but this guy either doesn't know CD or cannot count!  Still it is pretty fair.   I think it was written by another hater that attended the show and was pleasantly surprised(blown away) but just doesn't want to admit it so he could not resist a couple jabs.  But in the end it does say the band sounds better than ever and that's what matters.

is it sad or funny that watching this band evolve and watching Axl climb back to the top and seeing them on National TV is like being a "proud parent" To see the "critics" eat there words is fantastic !!  :hihi:
Axl and Guns N Roses are putting on a un-deniable Great show every night!! we as die hard fans knew this was possible and  was waiting/hoping all the way back to 2002. we seen this current line up grow and evolve/gel/mesh from each leg of each tour.  This experience of Guns live has gotten better and better each year, and Im so happy for Axl and the guys !!  they deserve this ! its great to see Axl back in his element  and "comfortable" with him self and his band!!

I'm a little late getting these on here, but I wanted to share these with you guys. We got to the Sprint Center around 1pm and just hung out in line for the day. We got front row and the show was just absolutely amazing from start to finish.  The Kansas City fans were great and GnR delivered in a big way.

I love that Axl gives everyone a chance to shine. I love the solos from DJ, Ron and Richard. Dizzy's solo was great as well.

I took a friend that was a casual fan of GnR. I've preached the awesomness that is this lineup to him for years and he left saying that was the greatest show he has ever been to, which made me happy to hear and I'm glad he really enjoyed it.

Highlights for me was :  Start to Finish!!!

DJ is a beast. So glad he is in the band, Great on stage presence, interacts with the fans, he threw my wife a cpl pics and just kills the GnR material. I saw Jarmo and Fernando, Told Fernando that the show was amazing.

All in all it was a great show. Great weekend.
