Hmmm....i know according to the rules I can't post a smiley only.....or a upside down smiley. Haha. I just hope OK is the only show their gonna do. I'd rather have an unknown open in Minneapolis and Chicago, cause then I at least could give them a chance, I already know I don't like Hinder, lol.

I hope they don't make the trip up to Omaha the night before.  Unless I missed something, I haven't seen any news on an opener there.

Weird.  Hinder flamed GNR and Chinese Democracy back in 2008, stating they had previously turned down opening for them because they were afraid "Axl wouldn't go onstage if he didn't have his lamb."

Kind of a dick thing to say.  Wonder why they've changed their tune.  ::)

I had totally forgotten about that.....they don't DESERVE to be on this tour.

Agreed.  They're the biggest tools in rock and their 15 minutes of fame ran out somtime in 2009.  Enjoy obscurity for the rest of your lives boys.

yeah this band is a bunch of posers and tools no doubt.   The music world also figured them out real quick, thus the reason their last 2 albums tanked.   It seems to be a one off show because that is their hometown show.

Yeah, even when they were around, the only times I remember hearing about them was when people were talking about what tools they were.  :hihi:  Great legacy!

I saw Hinder open for Motley...honestly, was more impressed with them then Motley at this show. Maybe they have some poppy songs, but they can play their asses off live.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!  I know this this doesn't belong here, but this is too damn funny not too..... Hinder's facebook page ACTUALLY says this in their bio!

"What gives Hinder?s music the stamp of authenticity is the wild ?n? wooly lifestyle they lead. They do everything to the max ? downing J?gerbull shots like water, encouraging audiences to ?Get Stoned? each night, and partying with Playboy models on the set of their latest video."

MY GOD! HA! I cannot stop fucking laughing.  What complete tools.

I did not like them at all. I only caught a few songs (luckily) but basically their music sucked and the singer acts like they are a big name band or something.

So how were they received by the crowd at the show?

I am still not sure why Axl/management asked them to open, and what made it "ok" now in Hinder's world to open for G N' R when they refused back in 2006?

Hinder isn't nearly as popular as they were in '06, they can't pass up the opportunity now.

Not to mention that leading a wild n' wooly lifestyle can get very expensive.

I would say that they were received politely lukewarm.

I loved watching them flame GNR all the while the drummer was wearing a red bandana Axl style. Posers to the max. Worse than Nickleback in my opinion.

I've actually wondered at times if they were trying to be a joke band, kind of like Steel Panther but not as obvious.
