Here Today... Gone To Hell!

I'm going to my first concert tonight in Atlanta. I was wondering if anyone that's been to the recent shows could tell me what type of merchandise they've been having, and about the average prices.

I've seen t-shirts, a poster, I think some kind of long sleeve, a bandana....

$80 for a sweat shirt? Damn... C'mon Axl, I ain't even got a job!

I hope to get something though! This may be the only time I get to see them in my life.

I believe the reason band's charge that amount is because that's how they make their money in terms of touring ect.  Bands hardly see money from album sales as the record company see's most of the profit.

Yeah, I get that. I just want to be able to get a few things and have very little money. If I didn't get the tickets for free I wouldn't even be able to go.

Yeah I hear ya... I might get maybe one shirt when I go.  I hear there's some cool T-Shirts can't wait to check them out.

Luckily for me, I don't like sweatshirts!

from what I remember they had around 5 different t-shirts,a tour poster with all the dates,a sweatshirt,a small shirt that I'm guessing is for women, and maybe a few other things I'm forgetting hanging up and then they had some small stuff behind glass under the counter like bandanas I didn't really pay much attention to what they had in there. I think this was the only concert I've been to where they gave people who bought several things a plastic bag so they could carry it easier.

I have a problem when i go to shows.... I have to have everything :hihi: the one and only time i saw gnr was in Moline in 2002 and i spent well over 300$. lol

I got the same shirt already posted when I was at the Orlando show, and the one with GNR letters with Axl's picture on the inside of the letters and tour dates on back, pretty badass. They were both $40 each. I didn't care about the price because seriously I didn't know when I'd get another opportunity like that! I really wanted another one that was totally badass which was like a stamp of something with a hooker and her boobs hanging out pretty cool- not the first AFD banned cover though, something new- maybe I can get it online? Will post the other shirt when I get time if someone wants to see it!

If it is i don't remember it from last night. They had the one with the band on it. The skulls The explicit one with nudity mentioned earlier and one more i think but not that one i don't think.

Here are pics of everything I got at the KC show so everyone can get a good idea what they are selling and how much it cost.  I bought every t-shirt they had except for one which I didn't like and also a hoodie (also didn't like) that was $80, a wallet $30 and some girl shirts.  Every shirt is $40 except for the long sleeve was $50, the jacket was $100, the poster was $10 and the patch was $5.  I also got a bandana (not pictured) that was $15.

Sorry I didn't buy the hoodie, I didn't like the way Roses was written on the back of it.

My two favorite are the girl on the gun and the band member cartoon ones.  Might have to buy both.

What are the dementions of the poster??? 24" X 36" I hope.

Yes the poster measures 24" x 36".  I flew from san antonio, tx to see them in kc and only brought a small bag with me and I didn't even think about it at the time of buying the posters but they didn't fit in the bag I had and I had bought 3 of them so I had to go to walmart and spend more money on a bigger suit case just to get them back.  I spent more on the case then I did on all three posters.

I got the embroidered jacket.....pretty spendy, but very nice!

Has anyone snapped a pic of the t-shirt with something that looked similar to Appetite 'robot rape scene'? I bought T's outdoors at Hartford...inside they had a better variety, including all the ones pictured here, and the one I mentioned (it was on the left, B or C if anyone snapped a pic of display)...didn't get close enough to make out that particular one or snap photo.

Wow, somebody knew in advance to remove the Albany date.
