I've always enjoyed all the various "new" line-ups through the years and Chinese Democracy is abolutely mind-blowing art- but having attended the Orlando show- I can definitely confirm there is indeed something very special about this 2009-present version. There's just something about their image and attitude as well as their very evident appreciation for the classic material that leaves the casual concert fan (e.g. my girlfriend the other night) saying... "Wow. I went to what I thought was going to be a cool 'Axl Rose' show- and left feeling like I had been to an actual GUNS N' ROSES show". This particular group of 8 is legitimately believable as rightful heirs to the GN'R history and legacy. It's as if the Guns N' Roses "secret formula" has bee re-discovered. We can only hope that someone succeeds in coaxing an album of original material from this group some point soon- b/c I have no doubt at all that it would be absolutely amazing... :drool: At any rate... anybody reading this who's on the fence as to whether to go to a concert or not...
