Guns N? Roses Coming ? But When?

Live Nation says Guns N? Roses is coming to Omaha. However, we will have to wait until Monday morning to learn the details.

An announcement will be made at 8am Monday. More than two hours of the band?s classics will be part of the performance.

Previous press reports about the band?s current tour suggested Guns N? Roses would be in Omaha sometime between November 6 and November 11. Currently, the Creighton Blue Jays men?s basketball team has November 11 reserved for a game against North Carolina AT&T.

I was just about to ask about the opener.  It's stupid that such basic information can't be announced.  It was the same way in Ames on the 2006 tour-- I knew Baz and the Suicide Girls were there, but I didn't know Helmet was playing until I saw their shirts at the merch table.

Buckcherry, Baz, and BLS were all announced well in advance on this tour.  Even Hinder, who we already know is playing on the 9th.  But even that information came from the acts themselves, right?  How hard is it to list the opening act on the Ticketmaster page for each event?  Especially since everyone knows the band's going to go on stage late.  I'd rather not sit in the arena for 3-4 hours if it's a shitty opener who I could skip.

Just got back from the show, I woulda gave updates by my darn phone died. I have about 75 pics and videos of 8 songs I will be uploading. The place pretty packed, no upper bowl. Setlist was mixed up abit. Riff raff was played early in the set, along with rocket queen.

It may seem cliche, but the show simply rocked. Third time seein GNT, probably my 50th concert and it was hands down the best. Being front row always helps. The crowd interaction was amazing, Axl threw me a Monster after November Rain, I missed it so he pointed at me and threw another one. Was pretty cool. Bumblefoot was awesome, shaking hands, let us strum his guitar. Dj was awesome, playing to crowd as I have always known him to, seen him play for almost 12 years now. richard was amazing, most impressed with his playing..WOW. Tommy and Frank were rolid on holding the fort. what amazed me the most, was Axl. There's been sooo much bad press about his voice, apparance, and energy. His voice was rock solid, no cracking, pitch was VERY good. His energy was awesome, shaking fans hands, running all around the stage, joking around with Tommy. The bs of him looking old and fat, oh blah. Definately some crappy reporter trying to get people to read thier pos articles. Just was very impressed with him, you could easily tell he's giving 110%.

Some people complained about not hearing Axl, but I have ran into this problem at the Qwest center with Metallica and Godsmack, some place in the arena just don't sound that great. If I want to picky, the whole band coulda been louder. Then again, I like it LOUD, VERY LOUD.

Very much looking forward to the KC show. Well, worth the wait outside and hour and 15min between sets. Definately suggest people to catch this.

pretty accurate. critics dont understand the solos and jams, I personally like them. Sure itd be nice to throw in some more songs like OMG, Think about you, Prostitute, TWAT, nice Boys. But I sure as hell aint going to complain, the show was song, never was boring for me, it was everything I hoped for and wanted.

That really is all that matters!! , cause I know I have never been disappointed. I look forward to IZOD! :)

But what I mean to say really is that the reviewer interjected what he thought what be a great show for himself, not the fans.

Actually, there's a thing.  If people wanna leave at midnight (or turn into a pumpkin or sumfing) let 'em, but they shouldn't bitch that there is extra time and penalties..... Stricley speaking, they've gotten what other acts deliver at midnight (on a 10:30 start) the rest is bonus material  :smoking:
