Title: GNR is #5 on ESPN's List of Top Debuts
Post by: cotis on September 12, 2011, 03:08:15 PM
After former Auburn, Cam Newton's impressive debut yesterday for the Carolina Panthers, Patrick Dorsey wrote a column for ESPN listing some top debuts which includes The Beatles on Ed Sullivan (#1), and Lebron James's NBA debut (#6).

Cam Newton isn't the only one with an excellent debut. Don't forget about Guns N' Roses.

5. "APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION"
Guns N' Roses' first LP topped the charts, went multi-multi-multiplatinum, and bred several arena anthems. Now it's the best-selling debut album of all time, slightly ahead of Boston's "Boston" and Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill."
