Title: Re: Yeah I get stressed out... Post by: Trist805 on September 02, 2011, 08:08:06 PM I remember scoring a pit ticket on ebay in 2006. It was a little more, I don't remember maybe $150, but it was totally worth it.
Title: Re: Yeah I get stressed out... Post by: russtcb on September 02, 2011, 08:09:04 PM I get a little stressed prior to on sale.
Title: Re: Yeah I get stressed out... Post by: hitmanhart408 on September 02, 2011, 08:27:24 PM I don't see why you would get stressed out. Tickets are not going to sell out within minutes so you should be able to get whatever seats you want.

Post by: Axl4Prez2004 on September 02, 2011, 08:57:30 PM I still get chills remembering May 12, 2006...buzzed from a great get-together with fellow Guns fans from HTGTH over at Mustang Harry's...bounding up the stairwell at the Hammersteinhyped as fuck! up to the 2nd mezzanine to see my favorite band of all time...
bliss. so yes, I can totally understand the "stressed out" sentiment. to put you at ease LIGuns, seeing GNR from anywhere in an arena is fucking awesome! I can't wait for the train to roll to the northeast/mid-atlantic seaboard. As has been mentioned before, Atlantic City would be un-fucking-believable. If they could ever get Philly to work, it would be excellent as well. The freakin dj's at 93.3 WMMR are a bunch of a-holes. Every time Axl is mentioned, he's referred to as "Botox Boy." Fuck them. If only I could write Axl's material..."Suck my dick Pierre Robert...on second thought, no, you'd probably enjoy that." :hihi: :peace: Title: Re: Yeah I get stressed out... No, I think what he's saying is that it's not unusual to get anxious, excited and/or happy about news like this for a fan. Then worry/get stressed about tickets. And then count the days until the show.... /jarmo Title: Re: Yeah I get stressed out... Post by: Bodhi on September 02, 2011, 10:15:11 PM HELL YEAH I get stressed out about this...I live in NJ and am going to be in Disney World next week when the two florida shows go on sale, im hoping they dont add the NY area dates before then and put them on sale at the same time because then I am going to have to rely on my blackberry ticketmaster app in order to get tickets, and its not always reliable. But at the same time im hoping they add NY dates to begin with! That said there is no better feeling than getting the confirmation number from ticketmaster once your ticket order goes through. I remember jumping through the roof when I got my tix to 2 Hammerstein shows back in 06 or even better my Albany and MSG shows from 02 which was the first time I ever saw the band.

Title: Re: Yeah I get stressed out... Post by: gnr-4-ever on September 03, 2011, 01:23:00 AM Wanna talk stressed out? I was waiting for the Zagreb show last year, it was the longest year of my life.
I counted down every day after the show was announced, bought my ticket on the very first day of sale (couple of months before the show). And since it was announced that GN'R is coming to Croatia in March at first, then I was all pumped and happy it's gonna happen but then all of a sudden it got canceled for some reason and there was this story that the promoter fucked everything up and GN'R is not coming at all. So after the 2nd announcement of the show (that it's gonna happen in September) it was the longest wait ever. And the stress part was waiting for the promoter to fuck it all up once again. And at the day of the show me and my friends were the first at the Arena waiting for the show, arriving at noon and the show started almost 12 hours later. :hihi: But if I had to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. Best experience ever which I'll remember forever. :) Title: Re: Yeah I get stressed out... Even though I know almost 100% they're coming here, I still stress until I have tix in hand! That's my deal. I get a little stressed until a Detroit date shows up from like 3 sources. Then I DEFINITELY got stressed until I've got my tickets in hand! Title: Re: Yeah I get stressed out... Post by: willow on September 03, 2011, 08:01:58 AM lol my biggest problem is that I am laidoff, have been sense Jan. So I don't have the funds. Its driving me nuts!!
Title: Re: Yeah I get stressed out... Post by: Albert S Miller on September 03, 2011, 11:09:32 AM I'm stressed right now, wondering if I will be going to one of these shows or waiting until Vegas and Seattle, won't figure it out until my sleepy husbands awakes from his slumber, so now I pace around until I can ask lol.... No is not in my vocab often, but I just can't say either way... guess time will tell. I have waited this long so I guess If I am not going I can certainly wait a little longer, but won't be happy about it ::).

God bless all GNR fans!!! Title: Re: Yeah I get stressed out... Post by: Classic Case on September 04, 2011, 09:07:32 PM I get super stressed, and cant stop talkin about GnR all the time, ususally leads to a few fights with the gf because im kinda annoying, ticketmaster gives better seats to American Express holders, and i dont have it, so i have to ask someone to do me a favor and let me get my tickets and i will pay them cash. sale for Florida shows are next friday and im thinkin to get the mornin off to be able to buy my tickets as soon as they come out. so yeah, im stressed out, your not the only one.

There is more than a good possibility that we will be hearing more dates announced soon. Although, I guess that's easy for me to say considering the first 2 shows are within a 5 and a half hour drive from my house. :) I'm thinking I may just attend the Orlando show and then fly to Vegas later in the year, assuming that they place there in Nov / Dec. Would really like to hear The General or Atlas Shrugged. |
