Title: Touching up Photos Post by: bigcash2002 on June 13, 2011, 09:52:38 PM I have some photos what I would like to improve. I was wondering if anyone knew of any easy ways to help me with the following issues:
1) I have a couple photos that are blurry. I realize that this is not completely fixable. However, is there a way to improve them even a little bit? 2) I have some photos that I would like to remove the "shine" on my face. Any easy way to touch this up? Or, is there a service that I could send the digital photos to that can do this work for me? Thanks Title: Re: Touching up Photos Post by: w.axl.rose on June 14, 2011, 12:56:20 AM 1 - bad images usually mean convert to black and white.

Glossy skin is easy to handle if you just have the correct software, there are tons of tutorials for that. Title: Re: Touching up Photos Post by: svdv22 on June 14, 2011, 01:18:27 PM You can try to use a sharpen filter but be careful with it because the result will look fake quick. If there's a person in the photo try only sharpening his/her eyes. It'll give the viewer the illusion the rest of the photo is sharp too, unless they take a good look of course.
You can also try resizing the image to a smaller size. Title: Re: Touching up Photos Post by: bigcash2002 on June 15, 2011, 11:37:08 PM great ideas
thanks for the advice Title: Re: Touching up Photos Post by: LongGoneDay on June 16, 2011, 11:54:47 AM Do you have Photoshop?
There is no way to get rid of the blur, but there are ways to minimize it. You can try adding "noise", and as others have pointed out the unsharp mask tool. Just play around until you get what you're lookin for. If you want sharp looking pics. The best bet is to go the artistic route and keep the pics somewhat blurry but make it seem like it was done on purpose... /jarmo Title: Re: Touching up Photos Post by: Sin Cut on June 21, 2011, 07:20:07 AM There's this photo with an ugly broad spoiling it, is there any way to fix her? :hihi: Stop dressing up as a woman.... : ok: /jarmo Haha, good one :D Title: Re: Touching up Photos Post by: Albert S Miller on June 21, 2011, 09:43:23 AM Hee Hee!!
