June 10, 2011

Duff McKagan says his life changed forever the day two fans were crushed to death at the Monsters of Rock festival in 1988 during his then band Guns N? Roses set.

Speaking on the site of the tragedy with his current band Loaded, McKagan told Rock Radio DJ Tom Russell that it was the day ?he lost his innocence? but stressed Donington retains mostly happy memories for him.

McKagan will play on the famous site for the fifth time later today (Friday) and he admitted he feels like an adopted Brit citing it as his ?second home.?
