Here Today... Gone To Hell!

In the song Just Another Sunday, there is an extra vocal layer towards the end of the song.  :D

It's either a vocal overdub by Axl, or it's someone elses voice. The reason why I'm asking is because it sounds like a different person, the voice is more higher and it sounds like it's in a completely different range to what Axl sings.

So did someone duet with Axl on the outro to Just Another Sunday, and if so, who was it.  :o

I remember reading years ago that some people thought it was Michael Jackson on the track. Obviously it isn't. It sounds like some chick to me b ut fucked if I know who.

I thought this would have been found out by the larger GN'R fanbase over the years, but obviously not. It's an awesome track, and those added overdubbed vocals does really create the whole feeling of the outro. So props to whoever did it, and even bigger props to Axl for thinking about that addition.  :)

The song is probably very old. Just how old it is is hard to tell, but it is probably by West and Axl and might be from 1985. It is likely just one of several songs thad had no Slash involvement (Sentimental Movie, Crash Diet are both also drum track demos and neither had anything to do with him).

If it's that old, it likely just has someone unknown they knew back then signing (girlfriend of someone perhaps). If I don't recall this completely wrong, the person singing doesn't sound all that professional.

I doubt we'll ever find out who sang those lines, but it doesn't mean deducation can't get us anywhere.

Whoever sang those lines was likely just a friend, or even a girlfriend. It most probably was done one afternoon, not taken too seriously, and nothings been said about it since...

Sounds like it was maybe one of the UYI songs they decided to "leave out", so to say. Which is a shame because, I think with the kind of production that the Illusions were, it would have came off, sounding amazing.  ;D
