Title: Dj Ashba Revolver Magazine Interview March/April 2011 Issue Post by: FunkyMonkey on March 20, 2011, 04:01:38 PM According to "hodge4443" (I don't have the magazine), Dj gives a short interview to Revolver Magazine for the March/April 2011 issue. Apparently he says the following regarding Guns N' Roses:
Dj Ashba: Since completing the album (This is Gonna Hurt....Sixx A.M.'s new album), the band mates have plenty of work to return to. So what's up with Ashba's other band? "GN'R are getting ready to work on new stuff," the guitarist says. "Everybody says, 'Oh, Chinese Democracy took 15 years.' What they don't realize is that there are about four records just sitting there-tons of material already recorded. We're gonna start sifting through that and writing new shit. I've already written a bunch of stuff I'm gonna run past Axl. And we're making plans on touring the U.S., but nothing's in stone." http://www.revolvermag.com/beta/news/nikki-sixx-marchapril-2011-issue.html Title: Re: Dj Ashba Revolver Magazine Interview March/April 2011 Issue Post by: GypsySoul on March 20, 2011, 08:15:47 PM Revolver magazine is INFAMOUS for having really really old info in it.
Even though it's the March/April issue, that quote/article might be from December or older!!! And as it states in that quote, "...nothing's in stone." Title: Re: Dj Ashba Revolver Magazine Interview March/April 2011 Issue Post by: FunkyMonkey on March 20, 2011, 08:31:40 PM Yeah, I don't know when the interview was conducted. But Nikki Sixx is on the cover, and his interview has a 'breakdown on "This is gonna hurt" book and Sixx:A.M' so it should be somewhat recent.
This is not really anything that Dj hasn't said before -- he just says it again. And that's something. :) Title: Re: Dj Ashba Revolver Magazine Interview March/April 2011 Issue Post by: GnR-NOW on March 20, 2011, 09:44:22 PM I'm always looking forward for some new material, but would also love to hear more of Buckethead and Finck GNR songs too.
