Just in case anyone's interested, you tend to see a lot of Ashba's picks, not so many Bumblefoot

This makes me angry to be honest, I mean you see people at all these GN'R shows fight over every kind of item that comes from the stage. Whether it's a towel, guitar pick, item of clothing, bottle, whistle. And you sometimes see people actually brawling with each other to get ahold of it.

And then you see things like this, where a person who was lucky enough to either catch or be given something cool like this, goes to sell it way over price. Think of the fans who would treasure this forever, if they managed to catch it.

I know I certainly wouldn't sell something like this, as it would mean alot to me, and would remind me of the experience.

A buy It Now price of ?40, give me a break, for a piece of plastic?.

You know what, you're probably right, and I totally agree with what you said...having said that, prices for guitar picks these days have gone off the scale - I think someone recently sold a 1932 Les Paul guitar pick at auction for 11,000GBP LOL!

its not even been used!! the whole point of something like this is so you can say "bumblefoot used this pick at whatever gig"..... the fact that it has never been used either on stage or to lay down some recordings would make it less desireble in my opinion

Bumble, I'm not talking about the value so much as in money. I mean if this guy was lucky enough to catch this from a show, you would think he would keep it if he was such a big GN'R fan.

And if he isn't a big GN'R fan, it's a damn shame that he was able to catch it and sell it at this stupid price, rather than having a true fan catch it and treasure it forever.

I totally get what your saying about the price though, things do tend to go for big sums these days, especially if it's sort after.  : ok:
