Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: Erick on January 31, 2011, 07:41:05 AM Great!
Rock n Rio in september! rsrs GNR rules! Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: One.In.A.Million on January 31, 2011, 08:12:52 AM Where did you get the RIR in September from Erik?.
And yes, that is a good spot, but my instinct tells me it's probably something old related. And if it was true, I would be so there. GN'R have played 4 shows in France over the last 4 years, and I've seen 3 of them. I would definitely go to France again in a heartbeat to see Guns. : ok: Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: richwoman on January 31, 2011, 08:21:01 AM If i`m honest i haven`t been to that site for a while and i tried to delete the post `cos i had a feeling we might have discussed it before i feel like it could have been there for a while but if they are i will be attending : ok:
Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: One.In.A.Million on January 31, 2011, 08:27:09 AM Too right richwoman. ;D
I'm already there, if they are playing. But seeing as the status update on their page was posted around Aug 2010, I feel it might be an old thing. We'll see. : ok: Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: faldor on January 31, 2011, 08:47:53 AM I'd be quite certain it's old. Barely anybody uses Myspace anymore, so if they had any updates I'm sure they'd put them up on facebook or twitter. Unless of course, they're trying to hide the information. In which case, Myspace would be the perfect place.
Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: Christos AG on January 31, 2011, 09:22:01 AM I don't know when it's been posted, Jarmo will tell us if it's true or false... BUT...
GN'R has some unfinished business in Europe... :smoking: P.S.: Germany, Greece, Turkey (and a few more which I forget I guess...) Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: gunns1 on January 31, 2011, 09:44:16 AM surprised it was pasted on myspace, instead of facebook/twitter...
Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: One.In.A.Million on January 31, 2011, 09:57:28 AM I really hope it's true, but I'm not going to be greedy. We had an amazing tour last year, and now it should be the US's turn. But in saying that, I'd be the first person to snap up tickets, and start booking flights to all of the shows. :hihi:
Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: jarmo on January 31, 2011, 10:07:49 AM Either it was added by mistake, judging by all the missing info, or it was added automatically from an outside site that feeds Myspace with events.

Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: bigcash2002 on January 31, 2011, 10:42:07 AM Yeah, I think this is a bad feed that updated false info...just a guess though

Anyhow if its true I'm definitely going to France again ;-) Cheers Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: One.In.A.Million on January 31, 2011, 01:09:24 PM Well it was nice while it lasted, that little bit of news gave me excited and joy for a few hours. But in reality I think it's only fair to give the US their tour now, going back to Europe no matter how much I want them too, would be kind of a let down for the US fans.
If GN'R announced a tour in Europe, I would be going to everywhere again just like 06/10. I love this band and I might even travel to the US to see them, we'll see where they play. And yes, myspace has compeletely wrecked their page. With stupid advertisements all over the place, it defeats the object and soon they'll be forcing us to watch adverts we have no interest in. A shame really because, just like ebay, as soon as something simple gets popular, big companies always try to muscle in and commercialize the hell out of them, just to get money in sponsership deals, makes me sick really. Back on subject, I can't wait for Guns to get back on the road, wherever it is. The best band ever, and the best singer ever. :) Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: gnr-4-ever on January 31, 2011, 01:33:14 PM It says:
Monday, March 24 at 5:29 PM And if you check your calendar on the 24th of March it's a Thursday and not a Monday. : ok: Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: richwoman on January 31, 2011, 02:21:26 PM I`m sorry everyone after i posted it i didn`t think it was right but was excited for a minute it should`ve clicked about the dates i`m going watching Enrique that night (i`m not apologizing for that!! :hehe: ) lol anyway it`s time to think about birthday messages
Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: gnr-4-ever on January 31, 2011, 04:02:01 PM And now the "Monday" part is gone, something weird is going on that's for sure.
Edit: Also the same site which is the supposed source for this show says that GN'R will appear at Rock in Rio 2011: http://www.gigjunkie.net/artists/Guns-n'-Roses Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: jarmo on January 31, 2011, 05:46:22 PM Like posted above.
The source of the date is a site called gigjunkie.net. I think they pulled these dates out of their.... behinds. /jarmo Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: richwoman on February 02, 2011, 03:40:23 AM Just something to add about the myspace page i realised there`s no best buy advert so maybe that tie- in finally ended ??
Title: Re: G`N`R myspace page Post by: faldor on February 02, 2011, 11:25:49 AM The Best Buy exclusivity ended awhile back. But it's still about the only store in the US you'll find the album. Maybe in some smaller record stores too, but the Targets and Wal-Marts aren't exactly lining up big orders to get Chinese Democracy on their shelves.
