The other 4th source that I recorded was with my old 2005 iriverh10 (red). During 'Live And Let Die' I ask a guy to check if there is security behind me so I can video tape, he checks and then you can hear him say 'you're clear, go ahead tape, yeah you're clear, tape away buddy... he's taping, that guy is taping, look everybody's taping, he (pointing to security guard) doesn't give a shit'. Thanks to that guy I was able to also tape the video of this show, I guess he was my guardian angel that night. Also behind me was this Indian guy who was really annoying, you can hear him singing during 'You Could Be Mine' 'Rocket Queen' and most of thier classic songs. He is more obvious in my video but you can hear him on here too. He is more clear on this source than on the 4th source. Don't let the quality on the first 5 songs fool you, it gets much better after the first few tracks. I don't know and don't remember what I was doing but the recording gets great after the first few tracks. Sorry about that. I know BB sources are much better sounding but he has expensive equipment, I am only a student and can't afford those mics and stuff, but for now Iriverh10 gets the job done. I will get better equipment once I can afford it. I recorded 2 sources this night. It was my 2nd time ever recording a show so I had lot of learn. One big mistake I made was put my recorder in my pocket instead of outside, this made the sound muffled since I dont have an external mic but we all learn from our mistakes. I've been asking for months for someone to remaster this for me but since no one stepped up and helped me, I had to learn it myself and actaully ended up cleaning the audio. I think I did a good job for my first attempt and even learned a new thing. The sound is good here, its not as great as BB's source but I would rate my source a 7/10 after remastering. If i had no remasterd then I would have rated this 5/10. You will hear lots of audience noises on here but I like that cause it reminds me of how much fun I had, great memories. I'm already aware of the 3 well known versions already available. I will need to download them again, as I lost them with my damn virus.
Toronto was a superb show, and I feel honoured that I was able to attend this one from the UK. I'm also over the moon that this show I went to, is one in which most people feel the best TIL was performed. :) Title: Re: [FLAC] Guns N' Roses ''This I Love'' @ Toronto, Canada 28/01/2010 (source 5) Post by: farmer1 on December 30, 2010, 07:59:42 PM i have source 82 if anyone's interested
