Title: GNR in your jukebox? Post by: Lord Stan on December 17, 2010, 12:57:26 PM (Hi guys, first post blah blah, but Jarmo fear me not, I've been reading for years and been in love with the band since the very very beginning but never signed up because I don't understand much about music I just know what I hear. I hope that's not a problem but I've loved each and every gig I've been to over the years and I feel the time has come now.)
-- Last Saturday I was at my local in the afternoon and a quick calculation made me realise that due to the time difference the opening act has probably already finished at Kwinana Beach. I always play the jukebox but this time it was even more special knowing this is semi-live  Do you have jukeboxes where you go or are they part of history and dying? My local only has AFD, Lies and CD. And it's also sad to realise I'm pretty much the only one whoever plays any of those apart from my non-GNR friends who do it for me sometimes. It's so cool when it's not too busy to play the whole CD in order, I've done it a few times but of course you need to consider other customers as well. Another waterhole nearby where I like to go has both UYIs but nothing else. Title: Re: GNR in your jukebox? Post by: axlrosegnr on December 17, 2010, 02:03:58 PM I only like to drink at places where there is a Jukebox. If I can't control the music, i don't wanna be there. The drunker i get, the more Gn'R I play, haha. i remember when Chinese was released, it was on the Jukebox immediately, so I played the whole thing front to back. Actually, my local bar had to take away the "Play it Now" feature because I would always pay more to cut in front of other peoples songs with "Paradise City" hahaha. I've gotten better though, haha.

I frequent a local bar that has a diverse crowd, so i try to mix some crowd favorites to keep everyone from lynching me. But, I always start with "Better" and mix CD in throughout. Good to see people jam to "Better" and ask, "Is this GNR?" :peace:
