Here Today... Gone To Hell!

Did you know that Slash has released a live album? No? Neither did I until today.

It looks like its a Japan exclusive, only available at Tower Records too. I stumbled on it totally by accident. Its a double CD called Slash live in North America Aug.-Sep. 2010 and was recorded in Vancouver.

The packaging is pretty basic, so much so I almost thought it was a bootleg at first. There isnt even a booklet and the store had to stick a little paper with the setlist onto the back of it because theres no other way to know what the tracklist is. I find it pretty strange it doesnt even get a mention on Slashs official website, but this is Japan were talking about, so I doubt they d sell bootlegs at Tower Records.

If folks on here are interested, and I guess they will,  I might rip it and upload it as soon as I have time.

And if you guys want the actual CD, well unfortunately it looks like you ll have to wait for potential imports or hit ebay for that baby.....

It's official, it's a direct from the soundboard live recording, mixed on the fly right after the show usually.
They had the same ones for sale on the Australian tour after the shows they played here.

Im listening to it right now and yeah, its definitely one of those on-the-fly recordings. They just put it in a little digipack thingie so its a little fancier than your average post-show CD, I guess, but the mix could have used a little tweaking.

Has the Vancouver Oct.1 show been shared already? If it has I wont bother ripping it.
