Title: Couple o' things for sale.
Post by: Mr. Redman on November 23, 2010, 12:11:40 PM
Hey,

Just outsourcing some of my collection to fund another purchase. Anyways, I'm thinking about selling a few things to help off set my out of pocket expense for my next couple of purchases. A few things that I have will just be linked to from Troccoli's site seeing as he has clearer and very high resolution pictures.

Feel free to PM me with any offers - But please do not be offended if I turn down your offer, I will leave these up for sale for a couple of weeks and perhaps then I'll move them to eBay which I would prefer not to do. So, without further a do;

Use Your Illusion [Wal*Mart Edition] Misprint, lists So Fine but does not play So Fine on the Disc. According to Troccoli's site there's 3 that exist, he has 2 of the three, but I bought mine about 3 months ago from an older Man selling his CD collection, so there's at least 4 known copies.

Chinese Democracy - Album art not packaged properly;

Estranged - Test Pressing.;

I personally own 2 of 4 known copies to exist, with John M and Troccoli being the proud owners of the other 2 copies. The copy I will sell has radio information written on the jewel case cover, just some times scribbled on. The one I will NOT sell PERIOD has hand written back insert.

MTV VMA DVD;

My copy was bought sealed in late 2008, opened and played once.

Pretty Tied Up US Promo;

Still sealed, never been untied.

Also have (no links - will eventually get to pix, otherwise PM and I will send you pictures.)
SEALED Use Your Illusion US Laser Disc (Still has original price tag)
2002 Rose LA Lakers colored Basketball Jersey
2002 Tour Zip Up Sweatshirt (Have only seen pullover hoodies available)
2002 Tour Button up Work Shirt with embroidery of the 2002 star logo on left front breast area
1993 Bad Appples Tour Shirt in XXL
2006 Warfield Poster
1991 Warfield Poster

If you are looking for something in particular PLEASE message me and I will see if I have it!

/A

Is the 1991 Warfield poster the one with the guy standing on the dead horse?

I assume that the 2006 poster is the one with the 2 angels/cherubs about to kiss?

I actually recently acquired an Estranged Test Pressing off a GNR collector in Germany so that makes 5 in total.

Correct on both of the posters.

And awesome about the test press - that's a cool find man, glad it went to another awesome collection! I wonder how many do exist. I've had one since 1993, and the second one since 2004. Does yours have back inserts?

N' as far as 2006 poster goes, I'll try and find it tonight, I've got a shit ton of various posters and I' unsure of which tube its in.

Also have;
naked chick on Pistol Conart shirt from the 93 tour, with GNFNRS 91 92 93 on the back, mint - worn maybe once that I can recall
Whatever it Takes 1992 crew shirt.
Both variations of the Live Era Dickies jacket. Grey and Blue.

I'm just adding things as I think of them.

Those Bill Graham Presents rock series posters look great I reckon.  I have the 2006 one but have been considering the Dead Horse one, I'll shoot you a pm about it.

I also have a cool BGP Slash's Snakepit poster for the Warfield too.  Most of those posters have pretty cool artwork.

Nahh unfortunately my test pressing didn't have any back inserts.  There must have only been VERY small numbers because aside from yours and Troccoli's I have never seen any others come up for sale.  I managed to get mine from a big GNR collector that has been selling off their collection so he has probably had it for years.

Cotis - you are correct. Couldn't find it yesterday, have a few more tubes to check. Hopefully I find it, otherwise I'll have to pull the listing for that poster. :/

Thanks a million for the pics, I know how it can take forever to get to them even though it seems like such an easy thing to do.  I haven't posted an update to the ol' collection in quite a while for the exact same reason.  That is a nice looking cat judging just by the one leg/paw...

Yeah, that's still lost on some people even though it's been explained multiple times in this and other GNR forums.

I envy a lot of your pieces, but was looking through your wanted, and have a couple things. I've tracked down a few things in small town stores since I moved from the Cities.  I'll shoot you a message once I get some time to get everything together. (I've got boxes scattered across the house lol).

Please do man, I'd be very interested to check out your recent acquisitions.  Yeah, someday I would love to travel the United States, hell even the world, just to visit record stores.  That would be awesome!
