Yeah it's weird we aren't getting any more info, but then again it's a private show so we shouldn't expect much.

Hmmm....either big money was thrown around to get the band to do a private gig or maybe someone owed someone something. Its also just as possible that they asked for a show and they're getting one. Just goes to show how generous and out of the way GnR is with their fans.

Deep Purple played a private show in Moscow last year as well, maybe some rock fan millionaire lives there.  ;)

All money from private shows should be turned over to charity.  It's just a point, can't be bought by folks who don't know what to do with their money beside blow it on self indulgent fantasies.  I have no problem with taking their money.

I think they'll be around 700.000/800.000 for a gig when on tour. I don't know this, I'm just guessing. And I'm not a booker of any kind, so don't take my word for it.

It is probably alot more. Around two million was the price a few years back.

It seems to me that its only fair that the show, being a private party, and thus paid for (I'd assume) by a private individual or company, would want to keep their event to themselves.  So unless a guest or somebody directly involved chooses (if they can) to say what's happened, we won't hear anything about this show.  If word does get out, I'd expect it to get out via social media amongst those that were there to friends that weren't.  If this is the case, I'd expect a drip, drip, drip cross-section of info that may need piecing together.

Axl didn't go out, so there were no pictures of him. Room service says he ordered burger and fries, some salads and 0,5 l of 12yo whiskey :)

The article says it wasnt a club, it was a motion picture studio "Mosfilm" (Moscow film as you can guess) :)

Not really as far as I get it. She's his wife and a pop-singer indeed and he's the man who arranged the party, but not for her :)  Last year he invited Gwen Stefany. It's kind of annual event.
The entrance fee was about $1100.

Depending on where it was. I would probably be in too!

There's about 190 other countries I'd rather see a show like that in!  :P

to me, it was one of our best ever, a tiny stage so it feels like a band, instead of me and Diz hidden in the crow's nests

the first video sounded like shit.and the girl danceing took away from seeing the band playing.
the second on wow im taken muscle relaxers for cramps lol,and it had me looking sideways.was that soppossed to look like that or the pill is working lol.

Well I  organise events, so am happy to enquire. I think we may have missed the boat though as the europe tour is over....but i will fire off an email to Doc's office.

I think theres a few of us who are seriously wishing for it.

Even though we feel ridiculously silly even suggesting such a feat, when you ask the simple question "?600 ($1000) to see a private GN'R show?" : The answer is fucking hell yes.

I'm sure theres hundereds of people who'd jump on board if they felt it was legit.

It's borderline absurd, sure, but I've already got about 20 people on twitter saying theyd go for it. Problem would be the venue I think.

Still, just goes to show the dedication of some of the fans on here. You wouldn't get that with many other bands.

Well venue - we gotta wait till a new tour is announced hopefully for next year and than hook on that.

Another problem is the $1,000,000 is just for the band not venue ect. & I am sure the expenses where not included in that price too.

This is where our Jarmo discount comes in handy.

I think the next proper tour (guessing somewhere 2013/14/15) is probably our best bet.

Just waiting for someone to put us in our place and tell us how farcical this all is.

I realize it would be a major challenge to organize this.
But...If it was done PROPERLY and in professional-like manner, I actually think it would not be too big a problem to find those 1000 fans willing to pay that 600d (or some reasonably similar amount) and travel to another country for the show.

If this was ever organized.....YES, I`ll be there, most certainly!
