Title: My personal thanksgiving?
Post by: w.david rose on September 27, 2010, 05:18:40 AM
First, I would like to express my gratitude to Beta, for all the work she?s doing, acting just like a mother for Axl, the other band members and to us - the fans. She?s really doing a hell of a job! From our short acquaintance, I was able to see she?s nothing but a kind and generous person. I had a great time conversing with her.

I would also like to thank Vanessa & Fernando, Beta?s children, who also make an inseparable contribution to the GN?R camp, and also deserves our gratitude and a huge credit for their help.

Another thanks, goes to Del James, for all the years of moral support and his huge contribution for the band. You can really tell he?s a great man, I?ve met him three times and each time was better.

Last, but not least, I want to express my regards and thanks to Jarmo, our forum founder, for his great contribution to the band and for the back door, which he opened to all the fans; we would probably been lost without all the live updates, tour dates and setlists he devotedly brings to us.

In all the eight shows I?ve been lucky to attend, in my twenty years of worshiping this awesome band, I?ve always encountered nothing but loyal fans and great people; it?s always a delight to meet you guys, again and again!

I?m proud to be a fan of the greatest band ever, and I really think that the band?s current line-up, after Ron and DJ joined, is the perfect alignment of all time, the kind of group that can really pass on Axl?s vision to the fans and the rest of the world.

It's a fantastic time to be a Guns N' Roses fan, and I'm sure thats as much to do with the people you mention as it is the band themselves.

Nice post.  :)

Best line up E-V-E-R...

I'll second that. I've listened to all the line-up's extensively, and the current touring line-up is the best of them.

Ill third that even though i liked Buckethead a lot too! we will see one day some of the magic he actually did with other GNR songs that have still not come out!  : ok:
As for the rest very well said! Its always nice to come here and have all the updates and photos at your disposal, great work Jarmo, and im sure u have a lot of fun doing it, which is what its all about!

As for the Lebeis, i dont know any of them personaly but i have to say they play a huge part to keep Axl motivated and ready for the shows, and to make Axl feel confortable with this new project!
So congrats to them as well!

I think Axl got what thay wanted > "Big support from the fans"...
In Serbia I read more than 100 coments by the people who didn't be on the show "WE wanted gnr again".
Sorry guys,it's too late

I didn't saw any older line-up perform live, but I seriously doubt any older line-up can top what I saw at the Croatia gig.

Simply put: perfection.

Great thread! And I totally agree with you man. Most people have no clue what these guys go threw to get things done and done right!
I have seen GNR 9 time now and everytime is better then the last. My first show was with the 1993 line up and they do not even come close too the latest performances.
Keep up the great work everyone!
peace out
