Where from?  Same for me between $800-$1000 airfare, my wife is going to have my balls.

Yah but you can fly into Rapid City for about $300 bucks & rent a car- it's might not be as convenient but waay cheaper! if I was going, that's definitely what I'd do. : ok:

I donno from where I am its cheaper to fly to minn or fargo then bus it in.  Any way I slice it it is about $80-$1000 direct to rapid city.  I will get workaround though.  Add my name to the list, I am coming down for the show.

I thought was just for the Motorcycles to park up front or something like that.

That, and an air-conditioned tent for congregating, as well as a private bar if I remember correctly.

So this "Monkey Arena" is outdoor? Is there any site that has info on the venue and how seating's going to be?
Asking cuz I've seen a few people of forums mention that GnR might have to strip down the large set-up.

Either way, I'm stoked for the 2-day road trip!

So I already got plans to meet Rhiad when he gets in on Thursday. Who else wants to get together? I'm getting there on Monday and staying until Saturday. I'll be camping at the Buffalo Chip all week. Driving 600 miles from northern Minnesota. 

It will be my 6th GNR show in the 5th different state.  Crazy, I never thought I'd see GNR in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa of all places. 

Last minute chance from Colorado area.

I am driving in from Colorado, anyone interested in carpooling?  Ticket on me as my brother can no longer make the trip.  Leaving Thursday and returning Saturday through Denver.  I am evening willing to pick people up at the Denver Airport (about a six hour drive to Sturgis, but on my way)..... Campsite is walking distance to the venue.  Hit me up if this sounds like a deal for you. If you know how to pitch a tent and mingle with bikers even better!

Does anyone know if there are bars or anything near the venue? I'll be driving in Friday and wanna get into some trouble right off the bat!
