According to KissOnline.com (front page under 'Photos from Holland), Axl was at the same Kiss show I attended in Arnhem on Friday (at Gelredome - same place GNR are playing in October).

I think you can see him on this video at 1:20. Damn, didn't realise I was a few feet from the man!

I was trying to see who the blond was next to him, but it was blurry.  But yes I see that it certainly looks like Axl ;).  I thought he didn't really care for Gene Simmons, so wierd, but maybe he just wanted to check out the venue, or who knows what!!!

It really must piss Paul off that Doc is managing Guns. He made himself out to be quite the jackass after he said Doc wasn't their manager and that Axl made the whole thing up.

Wonder if Axl stayed for yesterday's MUSE show at the Goffertpark, Nijmegen.

If it pissed any of Kiss off that Axl was there, I doubt they'd have broadcast the fact on their official site - and you can be damn sure Axl wouldn't be there if he didn't want to be. People make mistakes, you get over it. Apparently these guys have.

I don't mean the fact that he was at the show, I mean the fact that Paul turned out to be a huge liar when he said Doc was not Guns manager. It really made him seem like he has no idea what his manager is doing at all.

It's wierd seeing Axl in a setting like that, just standing having a good time like the audience.

I wonder how many people there who are also GN'R fans, knew that God himself was just metres away from them.  :drool:

Considering what Azoff was apparently up to all this time, Paul's not the only one who has no idea what his manager is/was doing.

I highly doubt Paul was 'lying' when he said Doc wasn't Guns manager - probably just relaying the information he had at the time. What would he have to gain by saying Doc wasn't managing Guns if he knew they were?

Anyhow, I only dropped by to pass on the info that Axl was at the show. Make of it what you will.

I never thought Axl had a problem with Gene. I know he did Paul back when paul was trying to produce them and change their shit around but I never heard of anything with Gene.

Could we see a Co tour int he future? that would be too much awesomeness to contain in one building.... WOW!

^I can't place the video, but I clearly recall Axl saying they did not get along.  I can guarantee it was back in the day, so maybe I do some looking around and see if I can find it, not that it will matter anyway.

A few years back Gene blasted axl during a public speech, about how he goes on stage late...

I'm sure there would be a strict agreement for GNR's start time, if these 2 bands were to tour together.... I doubt it will happen though

Didn't Axl say something at the HOB show about arguing with Paul Tobias when they were younger about the coolest bands and KISS was one of them? I doubt the two would ever tour together but I can dream....

It could work. KISS goes on first at 9pm, that GNR@MN. It could be co-headliners. That way the GNR fans who don't like KISS can come later, and the KISS fans that don't like GNR can leave. For people like me, who like both, it would be super-cool!

not to start rumors, but unless there was some business involved, i can't see Axl being there.

This is a way to get GNR a US Tour without having to deal directly with Irv and Livenation

Doc has a lot of power in the music industry and great connections with venues etc and of course Gene etc, so this could make the US tour happen big time.

Yep I believe it was when he was introducing Paul.  I think the other two bands mentioned were Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith.  I was at that show and have the audio bootleg, but it has been forever since I listened to it.

I believe the old band, or at least Axl and Slash were really turned off with Paul Stanley when he was interested in producing "AFD."  They had a lot of creative differences and from what I remember Slash saying, Paul's seemed to stem from jealousy.  I also remember Slash recalling the final straw was when Paul insisted that "Jungle" needed to be completely re-worked and re-written, when in reality the band knew it was one of their strongest songs and all it needed was to be sped up and transformed from a bluesy song (as heard in the demo) to a punk/hard rock anthem.

Yeah i remember an Axl rant onstage about the old guard or something and calling out Paul Stanley. I know Slash said in his book he apologized to Paul at the Rock Honors thing. I wonder if Axl and Paul have discussed that and mended fences?

It surpirsed me to see this because Axl and Paul didnt get along when Paul was gonna produce "Appetite" and Axl said he didn't get along with Gene
