Title: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: w.david rose on June 09, 2010, 03:02:10 PM Allmost on every show, the band makes the same "moves" during the songs.
for example: Axl holds the Mic stand above his head with his both hands on "LALD" Richard and Dj standing in front of the stage at the begining of "Nightrain" and then going back During "Its so easy", Axl throwing his Mic stand on the same place every time. There are many many more... What i think is that they are filming every show and they reharseled those "moves" and everything before the Tour came just to make maybe a DVD later with Mix of some shows and everything must be tight and same on every concert during the Tour. Btw... Am i the only one who misses the "with your ass up in the air" on "Ycbm"??? Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: Liquor & Whores on June 09, 2010, 03:10:11 PM that's called routine, it's not strange in any way...
live dvd? everyone can dream... Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: Limulus on June 09, 2010, 03:18:29 PM a new release? dream on :hihi:
enjoy that they're on the road! Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: downzy56 on June 09, 2010, 03:30:02 PM I think this is as close to being choreographed as a band like Guns N' Roses gets. Remember, for 95% of the people in attending, this is the first time any of them see these "moves." Plus, it helps other band members to know when Axl might launch his mic stand so they can stay out of the way.
It's all part of the show and much like the music, the physical component of it is rehearsed to a certain degree. Cheers, Andrew Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: Mr. Nik™ on June 09, 2010, 04:00:34 PM it's not strange at all, dude
Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: Lucky on June 09, 2010, 04:02:37 PM I think that's a clue to the CD2 release date.
Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: jarmo on June 09, 2010, 05:09:39 PM You only noticed this now?
Axl also gives somebody the finger during It's So Easy... You know, the "why don't you just...." part. It's not weird in any way. He's always done things that gets the message across. Whether it means holding the mic stand above his head or doing gestures... /jarmo Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: LIGuns on June 09, 2010, 05:27:08 PM He's been holding up his afrms over his head after LALD since the UYI Tour..
Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: Lucky on June 09, 2010, 05:28:18 PM LOL.

enjoy that they're on the road! Enjoy it while it lasts... :hihi: In gnr-land you never know, thats the only thing you can say for certain with Axl. Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: kaasupoltin on June 09, 2010, 07:01:19 PM Btw... Am i the only one who misses the "with your ass up in the air" on "Ycbm"??? No. I actually hear it every time I listen to YCBM :P It's like "ladies and gentlemen, on the keyboards, Mr. Dizzy Reed" during Estranged. Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: bigcash2002 on June 09, 2010, 09:21:41 PM not strange to me, this has been going on every tour since GNR began.
axl has things he does like clockwork in nearly all songs (http://www.mypictureshare.com/img/R/BB.gif) Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: superstarmc on June 09, 2010, 10:29:33 PM Btw... This is a happy song like a walk in the park, sun coming thru your room. You've sparked my interest Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: Christian on June 09, 2010, 11:21:42 PM This happens to a lot of bands.
It's not coreography, like "hey, i'm doing this and you gonna do that". It's just routine. Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: horsey on June 09, 2010, 11:27:36 PM this tour seems as though axl likes what he is doing.
but sometimes it seems robotic in ways but that tends to happen when tours run into each other. but i don't really think it's much different. ive watched hammersteins video's of all the shows. there was some similarities but not outa odernary. i think this tour is fine though just like other's,alot of good then bad this time. so axl is late ,hhmm you say. but not as much as before,i think it's more of a good thing.hence the bullshit hearing crap later. Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: superstarmc on June 10, 2010, 07:48:57 AM He does the same moves every tour, nothing new.
Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: D on June 10, 2010, 08:06:32 AM its called an artists "Signature" stage moves.
Seriously, u think Axl practices what he is gonna do where he he is gonna run? :hihi: Axl also always sprints during certain songs, what do u want him to do, pop lock during Better? :hihi: Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: D on June 10, 2010, 08:08:18 AM Btw... That's the best way for me to express myself at that point. l get there, and l let it out. Certain ways l move, like during 'Brownstone,' is the way to get the best out of myself."

Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: kukol1978 on June 13, 2010, 06:05:45 AM all the bands do that, and when something goes wrong during that "classic moves" is kind of Spinal tap!.But thats rock and roll and metal, without that the shows werent the same.Lemmy singing with his mic at the top, bruce saying "scream for me",Ozzy and his claps,etc....
Title: Re: Something very strange i'v noticed to on that Tour Post by: CheapJon on June 13, 2010, 06:58:43 AM in sweden last night he actually did say "with your ass in the air" during ycbm, not into the mic though so people heard it but in the front we could see it + the crowd sang it and he smiled :)
