SLASH ON THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW

Slash will be appearing on The Ellen Degeneres Show on Tuesday, May 11th on NBC. He will be performing the song "Gotten" with Adam Levine of Maroon 5. Check your local listings for times.

Holy shit I thought this was a joke. Amazing what passes for cool these days. I wonder how long before Slash appears on a Soap Opera.

It's cool because people who like the song will get a perfect audio/video quality live version of the song. This will likely not be in the rotatation for live shows, so it might be the only chance people have to get it. He has been on Ellen before, so this is hardly a new thing, and it beats the piss out of being stuck with only grainy cell phone camera live versions of the song if it ever gets played.

For all the reasons Naupis listed, and I think its a great song.  I can't wait to see it live.

What is wrong with Ellen?

I don't like her or her show either, but Slash seems to be friends with her and is comfortable going on her show.  So, if I have to tune into the show for five minutes every couple of years, I guess I can deal with it.
