Baz is the man! The band was tight, DJ is so energetic, Richard is a monster, bumblefoot is just perfect, and Axl... the man is the beast with his mic... absolutely wonderful, he sings better than ever. For me, "better" was the highlight of the night, DJ?s guitar was so loud! And this band rules playing Nightrain too! Aftershow, I could meet DJ, Frank, Chris (drunk!), Dizzy (absolutely drunk!) and Bumblefoot backstage. Took photos and they signed my CD booklet. Chris signature was literally a "dick" :rofl:. Absolutely perfect night! I was the winner of the contest, and all I can say is that Ron is fuckin?great guy, he is so polite and nice to all of us. We love you man! Nice meeting you! And the mix was absolutely wonderful, we could hear the guitars and axl?s voice so loud and perfect. The only bummer it's the long wait. I'm not complaining or bashing Axl or anything, I know he does things on his time, he's always late, yadayadayada... the problem is that the "organization" didn't let the people who were selling drinks to sell it on the pit between the stage and the front row (like they did at the same venue on Kiss' and Iron Maiden's concert), plus there was NO ONE selling food there! Only on fixed stands, there was no seller walking around selling food, and we were forced to throw away any king of food we had before walking into the venue (I managed to get in with some chocolates, thought). You take that plus the long wait and you get what? Lots of people felling ill and having to hear the show on the medical stands! Yes, this morning's, not last night's! :hihi: The only bummer it's the long wait. I'm not complaining or bashing Axl or anything, I know he does things on his time, he's always late, yadayadayada... the problem is that the "organization" didn't let the people who were selling drinks to sell it on the pit between the stage and the front row (like they did at the same venue on Kiss' and Iron Maiden's concert), plus there was NO ONE selling food there! Only on fixed stands, there was no seller walking around selling food, and we were forced to throw away any king of food we had before walking into the venue (I managed to get in with some chocolates, thought). You take that plus the long wait and you get what? Lots of people felling ill and having to hear the show on the medical stands! The place was packed, great to see how we love GNR here in Brazil ;) Have to disagree 100%. People from the right side of the floor/stands couldn't hear Axl most of the show... the guitars were way too loud, in fact, some songs I couldn't hear Axl at all (You Could Be Mine for example). Some friends of mine were in the middle part of the floor, and managed to hear Axl, the sound was ok.... strange!!!! F*cked up equalization??
