Title: Slash Brings In New Bassist
Post by: jacdaniel on March 30, 2010, 05:44:54 AM
Slash has changed bassists in his touring band.Todd Kerns has come in to replace Dave Henning. He joins vocalist Myles Kennedy, rhythm guitarist Bobby Schneck and drummer Brent Fitz.

According to Wiki, he was "briefly" considered to FRONT VR before Scott.

Lol!  ill only be focused on Slash and Myles anyways.  Would have liked Steven Adler or Izzy/Duff in the band but i guess they're all keeping busy on other projects.  Even one of the 3 mentioned would have been nice!

Happens quite often when putting together a backing band. Something else comes up, or the artist decides that someone else will have a better feel for the music. I remember a few years back, when a new NIN live band was announced, someone was a member for long enough to do an interview with a NIN fansite, and was then replaced.

That's pretty cool, Todd is currently the singer for Sin City Sinners.  He was also the singer and guitar play for the band "Age of Electric."  They're a Canadian band that was around back in the 90's when I was in university. They were really good and have a lot of great songs.

And yes Todd was considered for VR. He did a few demos for them and I believe he even went to L.A to test it out.

It will be cool to see Todd again, I haven't seen him in over 10 years.
