Beckham is a criminally over rated player..he's still good but madrid fans will be disapointed after all he can't run with the ball, can't beat players. can't head the ball, has very little flair...and lets face it he's essentially a glorified long ball player.....

A Barca fan by any chance?

Of course. All of us Barca fans hates Real Madrid, and Figo of course.

Imagine that Axl would start singing for Metallica, just for money, that's how we felt when Figo left us for Real Madrid.

Athleeeeeeeeeeeeeetic!!! (bilbao).

Figo is a much better player than beckham, though beck's is playing quite good in real. But surrounded by such players, it's quite easier.....

I'm a Barca fan. However, I must say Beckham has proven everyone wrong. He's been palying midfield all season long and done quite well. To be honest, I wish Barca had signed him. He is a much better player than I've ever thought.

Real madrid is not invencible. Proff is they lost a couple of times this season, but having the players they have, they can always rely on one or two ( if the others are not playing that well..) to win any match. Either Raul, fico,  zidane, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, Beckham...that is quite an open range...

Becks has been fanastic this season i think he has proved many people wrong, including me, now he doesn't play for hated Man Utd i can appreciate his talent more....

Come back when you say Xavi's made a better season than Becks.

Yeah, the second half of the season though. The first half no one at Barca played any good. Not even Ronaldinho.

Athletic Beat Madrid 4-2 last night. If barca wins today we'll be only 6 points away from Madrid. The Championship title is wide open now. I can't believe this, Three months ago I thought Barca was not even gonna finish amongst the top 10 and now they have a real chance to aim for the title.

Invencibles?

I guess Florentino Perez will call king Juan Carlos and he'll have the games vs. Zaragoza and Monaco counted as unguilty and replay them.

Incompetant.

There is no excuse for ever losing a 3 goal leader. Ever.

No please, no more dutch players. Barcelona has had 3 dutch coaches, 4 or 5 dutch assitants, 10 - 12 dutch players and even an orange uniform over the past decade. Enough already...we need more Ronaldinhos!!

I laugh sooo hard every time I read the name of this post!

How could they win anything when Raul is only a shadow of the player he used to be,Figo and Zidane have gotten old and Beckham is used as a defensive midfielder?

Looks like Camacho ( Real Madrid's Coach) has just resigned a few hours ago.? :o

what i dont get is how they can have an all-star team (beckham, figo, owen, zidanne,) and they still cant win often. you'd think that they would communicate better.

Real didn't won anything this year and I think that the whole "galactic" players should focus on the game instead of cameras and vacations!

They are getting old. Figo, Zidane, Beckham & Roberto Carlos are over 30 already...

Real Madrid needs to sign re-estructure the team.

I don't really give a shit, I'm a bar?a supporter. We kicked some ass this year, and we only needed one dutch player? :P

Yeah barca did great this year the only flaw was the champions league I really want barca go over the finals but  Chealsea won I didnt want chelsae to win, but what the heck.
That's problem exactly with Madrid I think the Sport Manager should realize that they can not longer put Zidane roberto carlos and Figo in the same field they just burnt out so easyly even though Roberto Carlos is a roadrunner  :peace:

Well I'm from Barcelona, I'm a Bar?a supporter as someone knows and I just wanna say that we have sent the galaxy to the shit, or maybe the galaxy has gone to the shit by themsleves.

When Bar?a was so fucking shit, was because of the managers, exactly for the president Joan Gaspar. Then, the first year with Joan Laporta, even Bar?a didn't win anything, was so great, because he had to do a full reestructure of the team and now is when we can see the effects, the team is getting mature and there is a lot of connection between the players.  Everyone is doing an excelent work!! And now is when we can say again what in catalan is Bar?a m?s que un club in English Bar?a more than a club!!!     :peace:

I found this funny is like one year old and they were old at that time, so that means they are older now  :hihi:
You get it? except for Figo they are all in the team now I hope they can find a way out to became the Madrid of Raul, Morientes, Mcmanam, redondo, makelele, savio and company  : ok:

Who do you think is gonna win this saturday? Barcelona or Real Madrid I see very complicated that Madrid win or even get tied Barcelona is gonna win again

Title: Re: Real Madrid Invencibles?

In theory, Barca should win the match easily. However, this is a classic. It doesn't matter how well one team's been playing...this is like a Davis Cup match. There are usually no favorites and anything can happen.

I think there are going to be at least 4 or 5 goals. Maybe 3-2 for Bar?a.

Title: Re: Real Madrid Invencibles?
Post by: Mr. Dick Purple on March 27, 2006, 10:46:32 AM
Last season was the last time Madrid won right?  and after that I think was like 30 years that they havent won there right? So im going with barca even though they dont have all their star players. Madrid can get easily in a hole in any game, specially if they dont know where to attack.

Title: Re: Real Madrid Invencibles?
Post by: Ignatius on March 27, 2006, 10:50:24 AM

If not last year, it was a few years back. Madrid hadn't beat Barca in Barcelona in 25 years or something.

Yeah, it's a shame Marquez, puyol, messi and Xavi are out...We still have Ronaldinho, Eto'o, larson...enough to beat Madrid. But like I said, there are not favorites for this game.

You think so?, last game when Madrid lost 3 goals down in Bernabeu the last game they've won 3 goals I think it was as a visit dont remember who, but it wasnt deportivo, and this weekend they won 4 goals to 0 to Deportivo the point is that I always have this idea they think as they score many goals in the previews match they can win easily the next match and I think Madrid is gonna lose again

You've been more right on this than anything else you said about VR or GN'R in 2003 and 2004. Your 2006 statements have been closer to the truth. But then again, once things start rolling, it is not very difficult for making great educational guesses. Thanks for the pre-sale stuff though. And Real Madrid sucks, always will, even after they stole our coach and 2 best players....traitors  :(

I think it was because Juve was going down, but hey even if Madrid sucks then why you care about it? is not like we are talking about the best team in the world.

Capelo is there,i think he could do a good job he is good to make a defensive team...all that Real needs it is a solid defense,Barcelona is already a team and it is far away from Real, the Barca players know eacheother, knows what to do when has the ball in control and how to defense whitout the ball, plus Ronaldinho,Deco,Messi and ETO they are great players,Ronaldinho is magical in Barca it is a shame he can t do the magical  in the Brazilian team... :'(
