Here Today... Gone To Hell!

Check out this link I saw posted elsewhere. It is a trip inside the studio with Slash and some of the guest singers for the album. It is really kick ass as it is always cool to see this kind of stuff. You can also hear bits and pieces of new songs.

It seems as if it would be pretty obvious with that many different singers, but I think there is going to be mad variety on this album just based on the pieces of songs we have heard so far. Some classic rock, some more modern, some metalish, just a little bit of everything.

Great idea and a cheap way for some promo.  A video for the album, Slash is doing a lot of things right, we shall see.  The "Vlogs" didn't really help the 2nd VR album, but this was much cooler than any of that stuff... Its impossible for there not to be a few really kick ass songs on this album.

Seems like there will be some cool stuff on there.  I think that all of the different singers will sound good with Slash playing along.   I was pretty impressed with Fergie's vocals on her track.  The only two songs I'm not feeling are the Adam Levine one and the Paradise City cover.

QFT , I thought it was going to be a lot more Black Eye Pea'sish especially after reading the one review but she sounded pretty solid. I was actually digging the Levine song I can envision a great solo to that, idk how to feel about kid rock though that will probably be me lowest point.

Sounds like there's some promising stuff there, starting to get pretty pumped for this album! :beer:

The Levine stuff was...er...um...disturbing - never have liked his vocals..

I was thinking of a way to describe his vocals when I got to that part of the video...disturbing...that may work. :D

It will be tough for the Fergie song not to be a hit, her chorus sounds catchy as hell!

very cool trailer, I wish I could have heard some of the M. Shadows song, as that is the song I am looking forward to most.  But it sounds like there is some really cool stuff on this record.

At the very least, for better or worse, it looks like a lot of different styles.

This was really a smart idea on Slash's part to have this put together and put on youtube for some good ole viral marketing. It doesn't cost anything, but judging by the comments being left people seem to really like it, and it helps to get people fired up. I hope he has some more footage, would love to see when Flea and Steven were in, as well as Izzy and then Duff/Dave Grohl.

Most of the singers looked like they were in the studio.  But remember Slash said not all physically came in?
Would that be Ian? or maybe someone else.

I'm not so sure about the Adam Levine track. Other than that, EVERY ONE OF THOSE SONGS ROCKS!!!

This is gonna be better than I imagined it would be.

Can't wait to hear tracks featuring Ian Astbury, Chris Cornell and M. Shadows. Fergie sounded and looked pretty good there.
