I have a friend who owns a shop of cd's/dvd's and he just told me about it and that its from tha last tour.
I guess thats why AXL weard the same clothes during that tour on the same songs.
Hope its true!

These kind of rumours can quickly turn into a "Were is the DVD the band promised" so be careful.  :)

There's been rumours about guns releasing a DVD since house of blues 01.

Doesn't seem to make sense to release a live DVD from the LAST tour when DJ is in the band now. Why add more confusion for the casual fan? Why release a show from a past tour when there is an even bigger/better tour happening right now?

IF the rumor proves to be true (BIG FN' IF), I would be willing to bet it's NOT from the last tour...but is currently in production.

I get it, promotion is promotion...but this just doesn't seem to make sense to me.

I think its not true.There`s no need to put a dvd right now in the middle of the tour! if you want a dvd you wait till the end of the tour! i havent seen any band doing that

Probably means that there is reasoning behind it, and sorry but your friend's opinion is not substantial proof.

South American LIVE tv broadcasts should do it  :beer:

You can count with at least 4 or 5 songs PRO SHOT in Argentina. There's a TV program which broadcast most of the international shows in our country. Never gives the full show though...

who can tell for sure right now? we'll see "soon".
also Fernando was talking about live videostreams here, would be cool if they could figure that out in time.

I think it would be amazing if a new DVD was released of any live footage. I know we've had a few good bootlegs like Rock In Rio Lisbon, Rock AM Ring and Inland Invasion. But it would be pretty cool to have a live DVD from GN'R themselves. I also think it would let the casual fan know that the Guns N' Roses of today rocks more than ever, with also a new set of players. I hate walking into HMV, and looking at the GN'R DVD section only to find the 2 Tokyo shows, Welcome To The Videos, and 3 or 4 unaurthorised DVD's from Crome Dreams.

I think having a new live DVD from GN'R on the shelves would make the casual fan very curious. This new band is too good to not show the world what they can do.  : ok:

What he forgot to tell me and he just calles me a few minuts ago is that the dvd concert is from 2009 so i guess its for japan.

Metallica just released an official DVD live from France. And as far as I know, they're still on tour.

There is a distinct difference between streaming from a bedroom and a world class rock concert.

Legal problems? Ok, Guns N' Roses had a lot of legal bullshit but when something it can't be done in GN'R world is not all legal problems. Technical problems maybe?

I get that they wouldn't confirm stuff if things isn't finalized (releasedate, etc..). But I see nothing but a win-win situation for both them and fans if this rumour is BS....

Does it matter? It the band intend to stream a concert, then eventually the concert will be streamed, that is it. There is no need for us fans to delve into reasons as to why such and such isn't occuring, just let the band/management sort it out.

Oh, so you know that, but yet you still make some lame comment about streaming shows being made easy by using a search engine. Guns N' Roses have the best technical crew there is, of course they know exactly how to stream the concerts with ease. Obviously something has has arose and they've decided against it or it is even still in the schedule to be done, the fact is we don't know for sure, so let the band work it out.

I think it would probably be the best idea to promote and establish this band.

Sure we had CD, which absolutely great, but some of the musicians that were on CD, aren't there anymore, the casual fan probably still thinks Buckethead or Robin are part of the band, and has no idea that GNR is on tour or that Ashba is in the band.

Considering the great shows the band has been puting on and considering there was a 3 hour record tokyo show... why not?

This would be the best way to get general people to accept this new band once and for all! By seeing the great show that this band puts on i believe that people in general would be impressed! : ok:
