Seating on the sides of the stage at Nassau Col. are so much closer than at MSG..

Seating on the sides of the stage at Nassau Col. are so much closer than at MSG.. Ive seen so many great shows ther, GNR included.. but that place is so damn antiquated, and sound isnt all that great, I wish to hell they follow through and tear it down and rebulid a new one s they have for yrs said . Post by: benfolds4980 on January 26, 2010, 04:38:48 PM I also was at Philly in 2002 ( would have been my first time seeing them ever, huge bummer ) but then I saw them in 2006 at MSG in NYC, and it more than made up for it. Coming back to Philly could be tough, based on some comments on the radio by local DJs and speculation regarding the venue bringing them back ( again, total speculation ). The market for them in Philly is still huge so thats not an issue.
