Guns 'N Roses Ottawa Civic Center Ottawa, ON 5/18/88 Deck: AIWA HS-J08 Tapes: Maxell XLII Master Recording Taped this one myself and I was on the floor, directly in front of Axl about 50 feet from the stage. I traded some copies of it, but not a ton, so I'm not sure how much this may have circulated. For this show, GnR were the opening act for Iron Maiden. Great set by Axl, Slash & the boys just before they got mega-huge. Check out Axl's erie foreshadow of their success when he introduces the band. Definitely an above average sounding audience tape.
